9th Region Frosh Tourney

Featured Replies

Well if you're going to call me out on it:

Class of 97': 4 starters from frosh team never made it to their senior year- Raybourne, Goetz, and Nader quit after freshman year, Skidmore quit before his senior year.

Class of 96': 3 starters- Romito, Roeding, Foltz all were done after freshman or sophomore year.

I rest my case chief.

Chief,

you may want to check your information. Raybourne didn't start his freshman year, and I've never even heard of a Goetz in that class??

As for the class of 96, the guys you listed weren't starters either.

I talked to my cousin last night who graduated in '96. He said he was under the impression that during the regular season there were no set starters. Once the region tourney started he said the following were the starters. PG - Romito, SG - Ruwe, SF - Davis, PF - Reeves, C - Roeding.

For what it is worth, there was a Goetz in the class of '97 as well.

Back to the thread. Anyone know who made the all-tournament team?

Wrong again as usual. Raybourne started almost every game, and certainly started all the tourney games. I can't recall, but he may have been frosh tourney mvp. Mike Goetz started almost every game too.

Romito and Roedig were both starters! I didn't mean Foltz, I meant Bryan Berger. He started quite a few games.

Why am I wasting my time.

And as I see as Maverick pointed out, Chad Davis started as well for the class of 96'. He too was done after freshman year.

I'll let my track record for my posts speak for itself. I'm seldom wrong, if I don't know, I don't post. When I am I'll admit it. A half-wise comment from you while you change the names you orginally meant isn't going to change my mind, or improve your credibility may I add.

Care to point out where else I've been wrong? Or was that just one of the things you like to type that become fact because you said so?

And only you know why you are wasting your time talking about freshman teams from 14 or so years ago. Seems irrevelantant to me, but I was happy to play along as many of those guys are buddies of mine.

You sure like the dancing banana don't you.

Let's see here, you say if you don't know, then you don't post. Then why did you post here? You called me out, and you were clueless from the beginning about it. Like you claim, I only post when I'm positive. At least one of us lives by those words in the BGP world.

Change the names? I said one frosh player when I meant the next, and then another poster helped further my point by adding somebody else who I had forgotten about.

I would say I was fairly close to those teams in the mid-90's, that is why I brought it up. If it is so irrelevant to you, then why did you go out of your way to jump in the mix when you obviously had no idea what you were talking about? Then when "24 hours" had gone by, and I hadn't seen your post, you look to pile on. Seems much more important to you.

For somebody who is bold enough to say they are "seldom wrong", and will admit it when you are, I guess you forgot about following through with that too.

I love it when I'm right. PM me if you want to go at it some more.

CCH won 43-34.

How many, if any, play football?

The only thing I get out of this is you forgot one kid, then named another. Yeah, that helps your case. I really believe what you're talking about now.

You seem really fired up to talk about classes graduated 10 plus years ago, and thus freshman teams from even further back. Man, that's a long time to bottle something up. There's people who can help with that.

An excellent stopping point.
