Styles don't win basketball games; players executing a particular style and tempo do; the more talented teams usually impose their style because of their superior talent.

And people want to criticize Highlands for out of district players and blah, blah, blah, when they don't maximize their opportunities to get better; Highlands outworks everybody in NKY period, and no one will topple them until it changes on a consistent basis.

You'd better hope Mueller retires and he is replaced by someone totally incompetent....

Coaches aren't that callous toward kids; word would spread and hurt recruiting in the long run; more and more kids are transferring every day as well.

The real key is if they develop all the boys and not just 10-15 sons of the coaches who want their boys to be superstars and themselves seen as the next Vince Lombardi!!

I agree with you; continuing to build schools has not helped their football teams, but Boone has roughly the same enrollment and has really dropped off.

Hardly, no one can compete with Trinity and Highlands on a consistent basis!!!

Just curious about their regimine, in Spring or once school is out??? They can do anything in Spring except scrimmage other schools.

No matter what happens, NKY is no where near Cincy football; Highlands is in a different stratosphere!

Ryle and Cooper seem to be making improvements...

It comes down to a simple decision by the head coach; he can do whatever he wants to get something accomplished with whatever players are availiable; the only argument is the small schools where 90% of the kids are involved in other sports; even with that though, he can work around the other sports' schedules and get some work done!

I was just reapeating what was said on BGP; do they practice in equipment (a couple of weeks after basketball is over)? I think that is what most are referring to when they say Spring Practice.

What is going on with their coaching situation? I have heard there are grumblings and that they need to do well this season or there will be a change. Any more insight?

They are good enough to overcome the lack of it; I am interested in seeing how they do vs. Highlands in the Scrimmage, whether or not Highlands' work in the Spring will give them an advantage or not. My theory is this year it will because they have so much returning experience; I know Trinity does as well, but the extra 2 weeks as well as it is utilized in Ft. Thomas could provide them with an advantage.

Does Holmes run similar pressure to HC? Have TO's been a problem for CCH this season? I didn't notice them much in the game vs. Dixie Heights.

What does the current list look like for offers?

They don't want to let HC hang around.....

If things stay the same in the CCH/Holy Cross game, are the Colonels the favorite going in to the district finals???
