The way I understand it is that the kid in question lived on Lower Johns Creek which I believe is in the Pike Central district/area(even though he went to Belfry)but the drive from Lower Johns Creek is not that much longer to Belfry as it is Pike Central, esp. with the new 119. The kid and his family moved to Ratliffs Creek which is also in the Pike Central district/area and is a very short drive to Central and a pretty good haul to Belfry. If he did indeed move to Raliffs Creek I think he should be able to play at Central.

Belfry vs. Corbin Pikeville vs. Bell County That would be two great games to get the season started in the 2007 Pike County Bowl....too bad the games can't be played on the same night at the same stadium because that would be a great doubleheader for high school football fans.

Belfry's is the nicest in EKY and Shelby Valley and Pikeville also have nice stadiums...Pike County is lucky to have several very nice high school football stadiums.

Pikeville's John Michael Mayo is one of the top MLB in the mountains...he has been out since the Pikeville/Henry Clay game and it would be big for the Panthers to get him back for their playoff run.

If Harmon from Pikeville isn't the top RB in EKY this year(and he is one of the best this year imo) he will be the next 2 years...

JC has a good team and IMO they are the top team in the mountains and if the Eagles matchup with any of the 3 teams ahead of them in this poll then I would be pulling for JC hard but Highlands, CovCath, and/or Bowling Green would beat the Eagles pretty easy IMO. Those 3 are the cream of the crop in AAA this year IMO and there is a big drop off after those 3...just my opinion. Again the Eagles have a great team this year and I so happy to see them turn their program into a winning program...good luck to the Eagles this year and I hope you guys have a nice run in the playoffs and win a region title.

Matewan had to forfeit their 3 wins they had this season for using a ineligible player I believe.....I believe that is the only loss that Valley had so they are 5-0 I guess.
