LRCW
Congrats to Johnson Central on the win. I hope to see some of you in two weeks. :thumb:
Catdaddy
Sounds like this one was another cake walk for the Eagles. Congrats
xyience
Good game tonight by both teams. I will give Johnson Central a A- on tonights performance. The jv played alot both ways in the 2nd half. JC's starting D didnt held Greenup County out of the end-zone. Congrats to Nathaniel Dials on a rushing touchdown.
Carl Luther
I just thought it would be like 50 - 0 or so.... It could have been 70-0. Grim and Ratliff hardly played in the second half, Matney experiemented throughout the game and played several players in different positions, and the second, third and fourth string defense played the entire 4th quarter. Everyone on the team got in for at least a few plays, and Greenup's score came against subs.

xyience
I will say this in this thread, and I will say it early in the JC vs. Ashland thread... I WILL NOT POST ANYTHING THAT MIGHT HURT THE JOHNSON CENTRAL FOOTBALL PROGRAM REGARDING THIS GAME. I will make my prediction and post comments about the game, but that is it. I have said some stupid things in the past on here that I probably shouldn't have said. I am going to let coach Matney, his staff and the players do the talking on the 20th. Until then, I am gonna be like Fonzie, and we all know what Fonzie is like... cool!
JC Alumni 76
Well first let me say it was nice to have JK Ratliff back tonight. 5-8 passing for 150 yds passing and 1 TD not to bad after breaking a collarbone just 5 weeks ago. Grimm again had a solid game although his carries were very limited tonight, still finished 100yds rushing and 2 TD's. Chase Richardson ran the ball very strong as did Blake Johnson and Nathan Dials. I also thought that Dennis Dillon did a very nice job of running the ball after coming in a QB late in the game. Overall just a good solid game by the Eagles although the special teams looked a little suspect to me tonight. The two things that impressed me tonight was the # of different players for JC that scored TD's tonight, and that once again the defense proved how solid it was by holding Greenup out of the endzone all night and under 100 yds total offense. The Eagles are Idle next week so I plan on taking the drive down to Putnam Stadium to watch the Tomcats.
xyience
Ian Welch put one through the up-rights tonight. Micheal Tackett and Blake Johnson are studs! Tommy Taylor and Chase Richardson had great pass receptions tonight. I agree with JC Alumni 76... special teams were a little bit off tonight, nothing to worry about, but they know they can be better than that. InTheLoop
I just thought it would be like 50 - 0 or so.... 50-0 vs. 49-7...I can see how the disparity in those two scoring margins could shock you. :thumb:
