Who is the best RB in the mountains? And who do you think will make a name for themselves?

In my view, Becham Herald from Breathitt is one of the best in the mountains. Also that back from Leslie. Channing Fugate is only a freshman for the bobcats but watch out for him.

I haven't seen Clark of Russell, but Daniel Harmon of Pikeville is the best back in the mountains IMO...

Dustin May has to be considered.... May plays FB so the numbe rof running options he has to choose from are very limited yet he consistently puts up huge numbers as well as opens huge holes. He has also proven to be a workhorse and go to back for key drives this year ( last week vs. Pikeville and vs. Ashland at the end of regulation)

Shawn Grimm of Johnson Cenrtral.

Just passing through. Catch me if you can.

Is Mercer in the mountains now?

Maybe Mercer is going to consolidate with a Mountain school and play in 1a next year.

Aaron Root FB\LB from Williamsburg is a pleasant surprise this year. Catches the ball well out of the backfield, and runs hard behind his pads. Had a very good night Friday with 140 yards on 9 carries and broke a screen 50 yards for a TD. Has been recruited as a LB, but is now starting to get some attention as a running back.

I saw in a thread where cole of Somerset was agreed to be one of the better WR's in the mountains. If those are mountains in Somerset then we have plenty here.

Our JV could win 1A next year.

Like you said, you haven't seen Clark

Harmon From Pikeville and Corey Chapman from Belfry

May is probably the best FB
