Yes and it is funny how every thread turns into Mercer has 5 guys who run under 4.3 forty, or Mercer has 10 running backs that should be considered as All-State, or Mercer will set a new state scoring record, or.........(take your pick)

In my view, Becham Herald from Breathitt is one of the best in the mountains. Also that back from Leslie. Channing Fugate is only a freshman for the bobcats but watch out for him.

I will agree, both of those kids create a great backfield for the Bobcat's, and Fugate will be a great one to watch in the years to come.

The thing about Mercer is that they havent done ANYTHING in the years before. Plus with the enrollment of a 4A school you should have some good if not great players. You dont come into someones house and think you can do what you want. You have to earn it, its not given!

Beckham Herald is a very talented back. I saw him play against Mad. Southern, he was like a bulldozer, my vote goes to him, but one cannot deny that Kasey Clark, has something special about him.

that RB from clay is pretty good. He doesnt get many carries, but he makes the most out of them.

I am one of those idiot fans. Nope, Mercer hasn't done nothing. I'm not going through the enrollment anymore. As watusi has said....that horse is dead. It does no good to argue that. Mercer plays where the KHSAA tells them. Fans like me do not speak for the Titans. They speak for themselves. They are fine young men. They don't go into visiting teams thinking they can do what they want though. They are a disciplined team due to the great coaching staff they have.

No running back in 2a has more pressure on him than Corey Chapman from Belfry. He is the best big play chance for the Pirates and he responded ridiculously last weekend against Pikeville. If he didn't, we lose that game.
