I heard on the radio that this one was tied at halftime. Apparently the numbers of Pikeville just took its toll on the Hornets. Glad to see the Hornets being so competitive in this district. Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come. Congrats Pikeville on the win and good luck to Phelps next week.

20-14 at halftime. Homecoming at Pikeville. Game was delayed about 40 minutes due to a ref being late. Pikeville was flat, but they worked on their passing game a great deal. Phelps played very tough, hats off to them. They took the fight to Pikeville for a good part of the evening.

Gotta hand it to the Hornets. They came out fired up and ready to play, we didnt. We gotta do better than this.
