I hear that Bell and Johnson Central have good middle linebackers. Does anyone have names and numbers of these or of any other team?? Let's hear them:thumb:

North Laurel junior Ryan Brandenburg (#35) is an outstanding playmaker.

Leslie County Senior Timmy Baker

Pikeville's John Michael Mayo is one of the top MLB in the mountains...he has been out since the Pikeville/Henry Clay game and it would be big for the Panthers to get him back for their playoff run.

Brent slusher is the player from bell co. i think.

Timmy Baker from Leslie Co. He outplayed Slusher bad when Bell came to Leslie. Not to take anything from Slusher, but Baker is being overlooked. I don't know how, but he doesn't get enough credit outside his team. Not that he wants it or anything.

If your assessment was ANYWHERE near correct, that kid would be gettiing looks because somebody would notice his talent level.

Johnson Central has Micheal Tackett and Blake Johnson.

Earls boy from Mboro can play, they have at lb but i think he could play about anywhere he wanted too!

This is a no brainer.

 

To have a scholorship offer from Auburn is pretty impressive. They have a top 5 recruiting class year in and year out.

I'm sure Baker is getting looks from Union, G'Town or Pikeville. Some small colleges like that but no, I don't guess he is getting looks from Auburn like Slusher. IMO Slusher could not play for a top national college like that but I do believe he could play for someone like EKU or Western. JMO but let's see how many posters take my post like it's personal & get offended by it.

The outplaying part is a matter of opinion, defensive schemes, and perspective. I'm still confused about how two linebackers from different teams line up at the same time so that one could outplay the other.

IMO Slusher could not play for a top national college like that but I do believe he could play for someone like EKU or Western. JMO but let's see how many posters take my post like it's personal & get offended by it.

Ok, That's your opinion. I said Slusher is the best LB in the mountain region. I do not think he could play for Auburn but If he gets that chance I hope he has a great career with them & wish him the best of luck. There is a difference between being on the team & playing. Ask Tewayne (sp?) Willis of Perry Central. (Was on the UK football team a couple years ago)

Don't know what game you watched kid........Slusher had about 15-18 tackles. Had a safety too, but the ref said he crossed the goaline with forward momentum. Slusher's going to Auburn.........who the heck is Tim Baker????
