Well, the final whistle has blown for the Carroll County Panthers 2008 season and I would just like to say how proud I was to be a CCHS fan this season. You went from a 2-9 team in '07 to 5-6 this season on hard work, effort and discipline alone. You hit the weight room hard last November and never quit. Senior leadership was very apparent this season. One of the biggest changes that I noticed was the overall change in team attitude. Team discipline took a 180 degree turn from last season. In '07 we had at least 3 players ejected for fighting or retaliating. This season, 0. While injuries took their toll this season, unlike in the past, someone was there to step up. Seniors, your leadership, effort and dedication will be sorely missed. You have left your mark on this program and we are deeply grateful. The '09 season and beyond looks bright. Continued hard work in the weight room, self and team discipline. and coachability is a must. I, for one, am very excited about the next several years of talent that I see coming up through the ranks. The coaching staff is solid and Coach Weedman is working very hard to build a solid program. Carroll County, be ready to back an exciting football program that is only going to keep getting better. It's here to stay. Go Panthers!!!:fight:

Desales will wear down HC. Desales is very physical and, while HC is not a small team, they don't compare to the Colts up front. I can't think of his name or number but the d-lineman for Desales that signed with UK is an absolute monster. Desales also has some very good linebackers and they will shut down the HC running game. It will be close for a while but Desales will win out, 28-13.

Good effort TC. The future is bright for Coach Poynter and his Raiders.

No way. Desales is a very good football team. It will be a good game for about three quarters then Desales' size will start to take it's toll on HC.
