  1. Congratulations to Holy Cross on the win. HC/Desales will be a good game. Congrats to the Carroll County seniors. An excellent class that has shown great leadership and effort. You have made Carroll County proud. Because of you gentlemen Carroll County football is well on it's way to prominence.
  2. Disappointing ending to a very promising season for the Wildcats.
  3. There are a lot of Frankfort folks on here. I'm sure it won't be very difficult to get fairly frequent updates on that game. Someone's probably watching out the window....
  4. Carroll County and Holy Cross are playing at 1:30 Saturday afternoon when the weather is supposed to really be nice...:irked:
  5. Believe me, this football administration does not have a "settle for mediocre" atttitiude. It takes time to build a winning program and especially one that consistently wins against the better programs. I think significant progress is being made and a little patience is needed. Working on the feeder programs to conform to the varsity program has begun and it is only a matter of time until all these things come together. It is being done the right way.
  6. 42 in the 2nd qtr??? :scared:
  7. No way you nor anybody else in Carroll County can't say that this football program is on the rise. Four years ago this program was a train wreck. Consistency is the key to success and that is in place now. Consistent improvement WILL be the norm with this program.
  8. CC didn't even show up for Dayton. I wouldn't judge them on that game alone.
  9. PM me with your opinion of what is not being done, please.
  10. I disagree. Carroll County has some talented players but they are not as readily available as at some of the bigger schools. They have around 50 players on the roster, which is not bad for a small school, but it is very difficult to maintain a stable of fast running backs and big, mobile linemen. I know they are working very hard in the off-season and every effort is being made by the coaching staff to build a quality, stable and consistent talent pool and program. I believe consistent improvement will be seen as long as Coach Weedman is here. He works very hard. He is in the weight room every day during the off-season and demands that his players are consistently striving for improvement. Look for improvement every year.
  11. Carroll bounces back from an abismal performance against Dayton and knocks off HC 21-20.
  12. After the game they just played a couple of weeks ago it's not so crazy, however I see Bellevue winning 28-7.
  13. All the credit in the world to Dayton. They played a great game. Carroll imploded from the get-go. Shake it off Panthers and get ready for Holy Cross.
  14. "Ohhhh say can you see......."
  15. If that one ref can tackle the QB then I should be able to get a pick!!!
  16. We, here at Carroll County, went through this just before the season started when we lost one of our young men. It is a very sad ordeal and we wouldn't wish it upon anyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and his extended football family during this awful time.
  17. No disrespect to anyone's team but didn't someone on here say the other day that Raceland's JV team could beat Russell's varsity. They said that Raceland's varsity and JV teams were the two best teams in Greenup County.
