Harlan County scores a ton of points. I'm not sure if Wayne can outscored thme. Also, Wayne County hasn't had a great deal of success in the postseason. Of course Harlan County hasn't had any postseason success, so who knows!

Wayne by at least seven plus they are at home.

Harlan County has a nice team and a couple quality wins over Middlesboro and Somerset. Wayne County has a pretty nice team with quality wins over Pulaski County and Taylor County.......so I'm going with the home team 33-27. Looking forward to what should be one of the better first round match-ups, as both teams own 7-3 records.

Is it Friday yet??? I absolutely cannot wait for this game. That said, I'm taking the Black Bears. GO GET 'EM BOYS!!!

I do not think Wayne Co. can score with the Bears. They have put a bunch of points on the board since the return of Blanton full-time @ QB and TJ Green back with Gilliam @ RB. I think Harlan Co. could be a hard out in the playoffs. They have one of the best power and speed combo's in the mountains @ RB with Gilliam and Green. Look for Gilliam early to make big runs and Green to finish out the hard yards come the 4th.

I'm going with my Black Bears in this one 28-14. They are coming together at the right time. They are just a completely different team with Blanton at QB and Green teaming up with Gilliam especially when Roberts clears a hole for them. They did beat Somerset at home so I don't think Wayne being at home helps that much. I believe the offense will put up the points plus the Black Bear defense builds on a good second half performance last week and puts together a whole game. GO BEARS!

Both are healthy after some mid-season bumps and bangs. Wayne will be ready to play and if we do not take the field with some intensity and play our A game the Bears will have a long ride home friday night. Lets all go down and support the Bears cause its going to take a great effort to continue our season. If we play we will win this thing and move on to round 2. If we play as we did last week we will be watching someone else next friday.

Agreed Lungbuster...they definitely cannot get out there and dilly-dally around for the first half like they did against Somerset. Having said that, I have total faith that our boys will be ready come Friday night. GO BEARS!!! :banana::banana::banana:
