I'd say better than 95% of the rest of the state, they have shrunk all home team crowds this year and that is during 7 away games. Travel is very good with very supportive yelling, banging, shouting, etc. LOL

 

I was really kind of disappointed with the crowd they brought to Somerset last week. I was expecting the visitors bleachers to be packed but they were less than half full. As for this week's game I'll take the Cardinals in the upset at home 35-28.

Just my opinion, but what was really sad was Somersets crowd at their place. Take away the band and they had nobody.

There were more on the Somerset side than what it looks like. The home bleachers are huge and it takes a very big crowd to make them look full at all. The crowd was down some with the bad weather. Also Harlan County isn't enough of a draw to bring in the casual local fans when the other two county schools playing at home also. (No disrespect to Harlan meant by saying that they aren't that big of a draw--with them being a first year team there is no natural rivalry) It had been stated on here how well Harlan County traveled and I expected the visitor's section to be full have their crowd having to use part of the home bleachers.
