Don't necessarily hate dUKe but DO NOT like the way they are coddled on the court. When you play dUKe, you don't get the calls that they get for whatever reason.:taz:

I'm sorry. I realize the man has only had two years but there are other obvious issues besides X's and O's that are troubling to me. His substitution patterns, his practices (full practices on gamedays, if this true), early season total colapses (losses to such powerhouses as VMI and Gardner-Webb), refusal to change obvious weaknesses (no zone defense-he doesn't have the personnel to stick with one defense). Just a few of my observations. I won't even delve into his reported personal life. I think he is in over his head.

I know what your feeling but let's face it. Jodie didn't have a chance. He had to work for every impossible shot he took. Screens, especially effective screens, were few and far between and he still kept his average at 24.7 ppg. Everybody figured it out after the 54 point game and then we couldn't counter it with screens, which is what you have to do. Any good high school coach would be getting him several good looks per game, especially with his quickness. Oh well, just venting...:popcorn:

But then again, why lose one headcase and pick up another!!:idunno:
