I'm with you Lunatic...... I think this will be a good match-up. It could go either way! I say Owen by 2.

Carroll struggled at times, I understand, against the Shelby press...Owen will likely press buzzer-to-buzzer.

 

Owen is struggling shooting the ball right now, though, and they're really living / dying by the three (took 58 shots vs. North Oldham the other day, and 32 were threes!).

 

If Owen shoots a little better than they have been, I'm picking the Lady Rebels. Gayheart has another good night.

I predict another good 1 in the all A. I like both teams but am going with Carroll by 8. Carroll returns 5 former starters from a great season last year. Both teams playing well as of late.

Carrol has a very aggressive team but I don't think they will be able to put up enough offensive points to outscore owen. If they(Carrol) can contain Gayheart and Lowe they will have a good chance to win, but for now Im going to say Owen wins by 7. Should be a really good game. Both teams play very hard.

Girdy is who I think you are thinking of from Carroll, who did graduate. Gorby is a senior this year at Grant.

It wasn't Shelby's press that hurt Carroll. Shelby beat the Panthers with second chance shots.

 

This one should be close and fast paced. "The battle of the presses"

 

Girdy did graduate but Carroll had a girl leave the team last year that is back this year. I think she may have been a starter last year.
