Probably not, but why wouldn't this have been HC's goals. I'm sure after last seasons run in the playoffs they should have had loftier goals than to dominate the teams mentioned earlier.

Carroll has won some games but they are not playing up to their potential. If they play against Henry County like they have been playing it will be ugly Friday night. If they play up to their potential (execute on offense, tackle on defense, protect the ball, good special teams play) it will be a great game. I think they will at home. CC 28 HC 21

Wow!! Do you have to be so positive all the time? Can't you find anything to be negative about? Look out for this team. Their senior leadership is going to be a strong point this year and I believe there will be a signifcant difference in their overall record compared to recent years. I believe they are hungry and will respond well to the new coach.

Carroll will be fine. They just need to focus on their assignments better. While the QB did have a couple of picks last night he also had some great throws and played an overall good game. On the picks I felt like he held on to the ball just a second or two too long. Better interior line blocking needs to be one of the points of interest this week along with eliminating arm tackling on defense. The Carroll defenders were getting to the ball carrier last night then they would miss the tackle and allow 3,4,5 more yards after the initial hit. Special teams performed fairly well. I thought one of the biggest plays of the game was the kickoff return by Andy Sisenstein after the Owen TD deep into Owen territory which swung the momentum back to CCHS. Henry County will be a tall order but one that can be done if Carroll plays up to their potential. Bring the wood Panthers.:fight:

Panthers move to 4-2 despite a lackluster performance. Carroll County shot themselves in the foot numerous times with penalties and turnovers. A win is a win. :ylsuper:

How good is the McClanahan kid at East Ridge?

Hopefully they can adapt to the changes that the new coach will bring and develop some chemistry that I felt like they were lacking over the past few years. A 6'10" man in the middle wouldn't hurt anything either. Seriously, they will be a small team but this group of seniors have been playing together for a long time and I look for them and junior Yager to have the best team at CCHS in quite a few years. Leadership should be one of their strong points.

If the Raiders can keep it close through 3 quarters, who knows how the 4th quarter will go. However, if the Panthers get an early lead it could get ugly. Frankfort 42-16
