North Bulltt senior Dalton Cissell rushed 35 times for 341 yds, had 2 returns for 25 yds and had 43 yds on 2 receptions to give him 409 all-purpose yds to go along with 4 TDs in North's 34-28 loss to J-Town Thursday night.

 

Cissell is now averaging 300 all-purpose yds per game thru the 1st 5.

I have been reading a lot about this young man. I would like to go see him play some time. Does North have anyone on their schedule that can give him a challenge?

Who is this kid getting SERIOUS looks from? Offers? His numbers are impressive. Is it enough?

North's district isn't too bad, with Bullitt East, Marion County, and Larue County, and they also played Lafayette and Shelby County, and still play Bullitt Central, Doss, and south Oldham, all of whom are larger.

 

Cissell is a veteran (started as a freshmen) who can run inside or outside, has good speed, breaks tackles, is versatile and has great intangibles. He reminds me some of Jacob Hester. I have always thought he was a tad too small and a step slower than what the D1 scouts would look for, but would look great wearing an Air Force or Navy helmet. time2punt has tried to sell me several times that he can play with the big boys, and maybe he is right.

As some pre-season publication put it, "its hard to ignore his production." For the season, thru 5 games, Cissell has:

I drove to watch this young man play after hearing so much about him. He didn’t seem to have his best game compared to his stats. Is he playing injured or is North schedule a little weak?

I’m not sure what your post means. I wasn’t saying anything negative about the young man I am curious if he is playing at 100%. I agree that his stats look very good but his numbers might not be as high if the top half of North’s schedule wasn’t so light this year. Only two of the six teams North has played against have winning records. Two of those six teams haven’t won a game so far this season. According to the khsaa.org three of the remaining teams on North’s schedule have winning records. I hope Cissell is 100% for the remaining games.
