  1. If you go "0" fer the team that is to play them should just get a bye. No reason to risk injury on either side. But I know money rules. Gotta get that gate!
  2. Like the idea! Spread a lil love. Cause let's be honest. If E.J. Fields broke every state record his senior year he would not have been awarded Mr. Football because, they would have claimed that he did not play against high quality opponents. The kids can't dictate where they live and what level they get to play. You could even have 1st and maybe even 2nd team all state for each class.
  3. Congrats seniors! If you don't believe different attitude can yield different results I would like to introduce you to these 13 seniors. Roll with me CC fans!
  4. CC you made Forward progress! DeSales, top notch program, top notch staff and fans. Continued success on your run for the pizza box.
  5. Just curious...what is suspect about their schedule?
  6. LARRY goes nuts on this bunch! Ground and Air. Then yakes home the hardware.
  7. Football Addict - Sweet Avatar! Go Blue Go Eagles! Although yesterday they did not go far! HC is an aggressive, physical hard hitting team that is trying to get to the next level. They work very hard! CC fans lets focus on us and use our energy for the betterment of our program and ending the this season with a winning record. Let's push our boys to work harder so this no longer happens! Let's be happy about the fact that our neighbors up HWY 55 have a team that can make a run in the playoffs. It was just HC's year. Tired, putting this one to bed.
  8. It is what it is! Let's move forward to Desales. A much bigger fish to fry. We all have our days of good and bad judgement. We had ours friday and they had theirs. Continued success and health to both teams. Everybody get back in the weightroom and get some work done!
  9. I believe this post would be better suited in the basketball forum. With your references to the rivalry with Oldham, Shelby, and the occasional Scott in the regional tourney. Which is true, we did compete with those schools at that time.
  10. Dont expect much in december. Would not want to run into this bunch in February/March. Football will be out of their system by then. Hopefully they will play for the new coach and be open minded to his teachings. Along, with continuing to hit the weight room.
  11. Gallatin is in its 3rd year. Now Cooper is established huh?!
  12. Sorry Raiders. As much as I want you to win. Just dont see this one being close.
  13. Look forward to the border war. Maybe the wins by both teams this past week helps keep the basketballs in the closet a little while longer.
  14. Who is this kid getting SERIOUS looks from? Offers? His numbers are impressive. Is it enough?
  15. Great Point Tall Trees! Most of the teams in this area do a great deal of winning with truly very little talent, and do it, with their best kids maybe only coming off the field for a special team or two. Some of these kids get grinded in the ground over a 4 year period and may get to go to the next level, but most don't. It is thru hard work, long days of heat in the summer, heavy days of lifting in the winter, and long days & nights by coaches that go into this thing we all love. High School football. Let's all ease up on each other and know that their is not a coach out there that is not doing what they feel is in the best interest of the kids and winning football games for the fans. Peace and chicken grease!
  16. Jars, I know it seems simple to pull Larry off "d". But have you ever seen the Ky. Derby won on a mule? No, you have to ride a thouroughbred to win the roses. Going both ways is just part of the deal in class 1a and in some cases even goes all the way to 6a. You pull Larry off the field on D and you leave that side of the field very vulnerable. Larry is a good athlete, great competitor and seems to be every bit as good a kid. Great WIN panthers! Your preparation has allowed you to perform, and prevail. You have done it with pride, passion and PURPOSE! LONG LIVE N.H. in OUR HEARTS FOREVER! BEAT OWEN!
  17. If Shelton has and or continues to hammer the weights and work on foot work. It could be very tough for many teams to beat them.
  18. CArlton and Florence. If they stay on the field for the full season. Carlton is a hard runner if things are going his way. Hope this kid can see the opportunity that may be out there for him. Team wise and individually. Word is MAddox not sure if going to play due to some basketball opportunities that may come his way with a strong senior year. Any kid that walks his g ma in to the gym and gives her a hug and kiss before the game is alright in my book.
  19. You wish, slick willy is not going anywhere. I expect big year next year from him. Work ethic unmatched.
  20. Feeder system not strong as most of our programs are feeling that. Girls hoops has the most active feeder program and you can see the positive impact. varsity coaches have to stimulate and work the feeder system(s)! Little league still plating slow pitch. Girls get older and priorities change.
  21. Cogratulations David! You are in my opinion the most versatile athlete @G.C. Proof again, you work hard, play hard, have good grades and character you get rewarded. Go to camp in shape and as strong and fast as you can!
  22. Congrats Corey! Coach White will take good care of you. He is a super guy! Ther is no off season only out of season. Start your preparation and go get a starting job your are a special player.
  23. Congrats Justin! Remember there is No Off Season, only out of season! I know from seeing you at camps this summer preparation is not a problem. You deserve all that you are getting!
  24. Congrats BIG MAC! Now that you are making the jump to college football there will truly be no off season! Only out of season! Soooooooooooooo happy for you. This is why you come in before you go to work in the summer and get your lift on!
