What does Owen Co need to do to improve in 2008/2009? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Owen Co. will be very good this year. They have all the components -- big guy in the middle, a shooter, a good PG and great coach.

Look for Owen to do well in all facets of the season. District, Region and returning to the All "A" this year. I look forward to covering the Rebels. Best of luck to Coach Duvall and his staff.:thumb:

Owen County lost a very good defensive player in Clint Hamilton. Hopefully some of the younger guys will step up and be the work horse on defense that he was.

If Owen can find 2 more player to go with Marston, Gamble and Shelton, they are able to defeat anybody in the region

I expect to see good things from 6'5" jr. Michael Colligan.

If Shelton has and or continues to hammer the weights and work on foot work. It could be very tough for many teams to beat them.

I have always liked this kid. We used to play Little league against him. I think he has always been under rated and possibly not even utilized to his fullest potential. The fact that he is 6'5 wont hurt anything either .

Looking forward to seeing the Rebels in the Region this year...I was very impressed during last year's Region 8 tournament... I think this team is solid and a definite contender, although they'll have to take that next step to contend with the big 3 of Anderson, Shelby, and North.

 

I just don't think that it's a very big step!
