Henry started slow, because of turnovers, but they were able to kick it the 2nd Quarter to take a 28-0 halftime lead. Magness did more with his legs than his arm tonight. I have to give credit to the Henry OL: Fraze, Ingram, Price, Quire, Pigram, Nutter and Waldrup. I thought Henry won the game in the trenches. Carroll had several players that I liked, sorry but I can only use numbers #32, 14, 19 (Defense was tough), 34 and 11. Carroll will be a tough out in AA.

Who did that? I have seen players come out in street clothes and then be dressed at game time.

I am not sure why the rivalry will end. Of course Henry blames Carroll and Carroll blames Henry. There has been some great contest through out the years.

The soph has done quite well. Give some props to his receiving core, Long, Sampson, Raisor, Kelley, Yancey and Hinkle. Backs: Miracle,Timberlake, Mahoney and Baldwin can also catch the ball.

Old 70 just got back from laying on the Beach, eating Shrimp and drinking Cornoas with Jimmy Buffett. We all would be in bad move having to leave that.

You are right True Blue. I should have stated " one of the team's goals". I should have not used the word "dominate". Henry is hurting this week with injuries and several key players will not play. Henry is 2 plays away from being undeated, but I have gave all of the credit to North and WH. This could be the last game with Carroll in quite a few years, so I look for a barnburner. Henry did not pressure the QB last week, and they will need to do that this week, if they want the W over Carroll.

Henry Co is the smallest AAA school in the state. Henry, Carroll and Owen are not separated by more than 20 students. Carroll played Gallatin and Trimble. Henry played Trimble and Eminence. Eminence beat Gallatin Co. Henry gets to play in the Class A Basketball and Baseball tourney this year. By the way Carroll is very capable of beating Henry.

Henry has lost 2 heartbreaking games the last 3 weeks. Carroll is playing well. Henry is missing players due to the injury bug, and they are hoping that sophmores step up. Henry wanted to dominate Trimble, Eminence, Owen and Carroll this year. They have done it 3 times, but number 4 could be a difficult task. If Carroll can keep it close until the 4th quarter, Henry will get tested. I will take Henry 34 Carroll 22.

Henry should be alot better,and do not forget Booher.

North picks the score. My guess Billy will play it safe against his coaching buddy and will 35-6.

Good point, Kunte. With a win against WH, North will not have to leave Goshen until they reach Papa Johns. I am rooting hard in 2 weeks for North against WH, and Henry against Spencer. The 3 way tie could be interesting for the #2 seed.

Can a district be any closer? I think back 2 years ago, when coaches from other Districts were making fun of this District, but all 4 teams are strong. I can not wait for 2 more weeks when Spencer @ Henry face off, as well as WH and North. WH #11 Curry, is the difference and maybe the District's best. Can someone tell me if he is getting looked at. I know that he is only a Jr. North is good in all areas of the game, including special teams. Henry has the depth. Spencer has the players to beat anyone. WOW, this District is fun for the football fans at all 4 schools.:dancingpa
