All the good hires maybe getting away. Why do so many like GC wait to make a hire when plenty of good coaches are out there? What are Pros and Cons of grant county? -

This is Big school with small school pool of athletes. Grant has two returning players with varsity experience. Expect them two struggle for the next three years. Who ever gets this job must be prepared to work at all levels. -

The Final shot was a block. The officials were not bad. They got some numbers wrong but did go back and fix them. I would take those officials over a lot of the 8th region officials. Good game to watch by both teams. -

What's happening at Henry County?

There is nothing wrong with making kids lift in the mornings if they are in another sport. It is what sucessful football teams do. I have to disagree. Athletes should not be made to participate in football lifting while participating in another sport. I am sure most good winter sports programs already do in season weight/cross training. I also think that if kids chooses to go to both they should be allowed. -

Agreed!! -
Have not fished there in many years. Reading all this makes me want to go!

Hurley not playing hurt them against the pressure. He started at the point for a majority of the year. Your crazy if you think that Blackburn not playing did not hurt them. He has been a leader for them all year.
-
Injured. He will be back this week.

Grant played again without blackburn and hurley. That is their leading scorer, rebounder, and assist. That's ten more fouls and another post defender they were down. Ship, Hunt, and Anglin all got in foul trouble. Ship and hunt end up fouling out. Grant played well the first half and made shots. The second half Grant could not handle the inside play of Anderson and did not make shots.

Pendleton County 67 Grant County 57

From where I was sitting the foul with three seconds was to prevent a layup when pendleton was up by eight. The dunk was a nice dunk earlier in game but not over three players. Grant really missed Blackburn and Hurley. -
