  1. All the good hires maybe getting away. Why do so many like GC wait to make a hire when plenty of good coaches are out there? What are Pros and Cons of grant county?
  2. There is always lots of teaching openings at GC each year.
  3. This is Big school with small school pool of athletes. Grant has two returning players with varsity experience. Expect them two struggle for the next three years. Who ever gets this job must be prepared to work at all levels.
  4. Not only can south shoot, they can get to the rim. I'm going with south
  5. The Final shot was a block. The officials were not bad. They got some numbers wrong but did go back and fix them. I would take those officials over a lot of the 8th region officials. Good game to watch by both teams.
  6. There is nothing wrong with making kids lift in the mornings if they are in another sport. It is what sucessful football teams do. I have to disagree. Athletes should not be made to participate in football lifting while participating in another sport. I am sure most good winter sports programs already do in season weight/cross training. I also think that if kids chooses to go to both they should be allowed.
  7. Good luck to Coach Arvin and the Braves. I'm sure he will bring lots of experience to his new young team.
  8. Just curious, do most districts and regions play freshman and jv district/regional tournaments?
  9. Hurley not playing hurt them against the pressure. He started at the point for a majority of the year. Your crazy if you think that Blackburn not playing did not hurt them. He has been a leader for them all year.
  10. Injured. He will be back this week.
  11. Grant played again without blackburn and hurley. That is their leading scorer, rebounder, and assist. That's ten more fouls and another post defender they were down. Ship, Hunt, and Anglin all got in foul trouble. Ship and hunt end up fouling out. Grant played well the first half and made shots. The second half Grant could not handle the inside play of Anderson and did not make shots.
  12. From where I was sitting the foul with three seconds was to prevent a layup when pendleton was up by eight. The dunk was a nice dunk earlier in game but not over three players. Grant really missed Blackburn and Hurley.
  13. Anyone have stats from this one?
  14. Not a make up. Grant will win this game by four. Walton is going to run out of juice late in the game.
  15. :thumb::thumb::thumb:You are exactly right.
  16. Boone county should win this one by 5 + even if SK plays their best.
  17. S K by six. They looked very loose and soft with ball against Harrison which will keep of out under double digits. They will have too much talent for G C.
  18. The current interim has 7 years teaching and coaching experience. 3 years coaching middle school in Shelby County and 4 years Jv/assistant at Grant.
  19. Coach Utter has been allowing people to come in and shoot anytime they want. He was told by administration not to do any scheduling of summer or next season. Maybe a Hint.:walk:
  20. Round 2 of interviews this week. It should not be much longer???????????
  21. I have also heard that hundley has withdrawn his name from this job.
  22. Scott County just fouls a lot. They always have and always will its part of there agressive play.
