2008 Gallatin County

Featured Replies

What does Gallatin County need to do to improve in 2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

They return some quality kids. It wouldn't suprise me if they win the district this season. It they could improve on one thing it should be speed on the offensive and defensive lines.

I would say commitment...I understand spring practice did not go well...a few days only 1 or 2 kids were there...I know that most of the baseball team play football as well...several of the players that do not play baseball were not present...I can only hope the reason for not being at spring practice was study hall!

In a small school like Gallatin County, most athletes are three sort players because w/o these kids, there would be no programs. Considering 4 out of the top 6 basketball players were also football players, and almost the entire basketball team is playing baseball now, no wonder only a few kids showed. If there was no baseball games those days, no doubt the attendance would have been higher. All in all, Gallatin County has a nice program that is really just getting rolling along. I look for good things this season and for seasons yet to come. Go Cats!

We will be doing great things this year. Get a chance come out and see us in action.

Definitely will be there to see some games. After all, your team is the only game in town on Friday nights! Good luck this season!

GC only graduating 5 seniors I believe, should stand to be one of the strongest teams in the district. If they can keep the returning Juniors eligible and under control. They return their starting TB and QB both coming off very respectable '07 seasons. Good luck Wildcats and Coach B.

Gallatin County only lost five players? I thought there were more than five. Does anyone know how many they had in the weightroom this winter?

Based on their '07-'08 roster they graduted 5 seniors and have I think 11 juniors returning, again if they all stay eligible. and I dont know about their weight room.:thumb:

:thumb:Just want to wish the Wildcats and Coach good luck with the '08 season, see you in the trenches.:thumb:

Do they have the same QB coming back this year or was he a senior?

:banana:Who are some of their players to watch this year?

CArlton and Florence. If they stay on the field for the full season. Carlton is a hard runner if things are going his way. Hope this kid can see the opportunity that may be out there for him. Team wise and individually. Word is MAddox not sure if going to play due to some basketball opportunities that may come his way with a strong senior year. Any kid that walks his g ma in to the gym and gives her a hug and kiss before the game is alright in my book.

Jesse Florence should return for his senior season this year.
