Prayers from Russell County! We know all to well your pain.

Tuesday night the Mighty Lakers of Russell County lost Junior running back/outside linebacker Luke Burton. Luke was involved in a one vehicle accident as his pickup truck collided with a tree early Tuesday morning. Both of Luke's parents are employed by the school system. Luke's father serves as one of the freshmen coaches. This has been a terrible blow to the community, school, players, coaches, but most importantly Luke's parents. Luke's profession of faith and living that faith has made this tragedy bearable. I post this (my 1st and only post) as a statement to the power of prayer, as I ask all those that believe likewise to pray for this community, school, player, coaches, AND LUKE'S PARENTS.
