I have never seen players play so hard and be so outmanned as Trimble did tonight. The saying they "left it all on the field" is the case tonight for the Raiders.

 

The Raiders were stary eyed early as they fumbled 3 times inside the 30 yard line less than 5 minutes into the game. Which meant that the score 5 minutes into the game is 21-0. At the half the score was 28-0 and with 3 minutes to go in the game the score is 35-6. If the young Raiders (who start 3 9th graders and 7 10 graders) had not had such a bad start the score could have been 14-6 with 3 minutes to go inthe game.

 

Trimble got out of the wishbone after the first 5 minutes of the game and got in the A-11 and was able to move the ball. For all the A-11 nay sayers if you can it on Beechwood in the A-11 you move it on about anyone. People better watch out for the young Raiders as they grow older in the A-11.

 

Good job guys and I am very proud of you and go to work on Monday for next season.:thumb:

Did the Raiders utilize the A11 tonight? If so, did it cause any problems for the Tigers?

True.......tigers learn from this. Don't rely on history. You CAN do it. It is up to you. This IS your time.......make it happen your way.:fight::fight:

With all due respect to the Raiders, Beechwood was without there 2 biggest weapons and key defensive players while still in the 2nd period,Tiepel and Daniels, and had guys in that have never started before. Yes they were all off thier game , maybe looking past TC. Trimble County foughtall night and gave everything they had, Got to talk to a few of the TC fans that made the trip, very,very nice folks, I look forward to following there future, it is indeed bright.

I thought this was the poorest game I have seen the Tigers play all year. They did not execute well. They did not show a lot of emotion. They were just flat! This was not the Beechwood team we have watched all year. It was exciting to see the TC players down by 4 touchdowns showing a lot of heart and emotion. After the first quarter I thought that TC played quite well compared to the other class A teams we have played.

I agree 100% TC played with real heart.

 

I do think our boys went in overconfident and played flat. I suspect that our coach will remedy this in practice today and through the week

Who were they without? Daniels, Tiepel, #56 and #35 all PLAYED the entire game and that is who I heard was hurt.

 

Also you have 50 10-12 graders and Trimble has 24 9-12 graders Trimble was without there starting frshman WR and back up QB #2 Skiler Alexander and that hurt them early.
