Looks to me like they really let NC creep into this one, only reason I can come up with for the close score. :walk:

High scoring games like this, has several factors. One being the ability to score and dominate, while the other is not being able to defend or stop.

No, I know that, but 72 points isn't backing off. I just don't like that in prep games. St. X may have been trying to send a message to the state, but then the whole state replies, "oh well they played nobody."

What is St.X supposed to do, take a knee on every down once they are up by 40?

 

I can't claim to know for sure how the score got that high but I am pretty sure St.X was already sending in their subs by the second quarter. Are you supposed to tell kids that don't get to see the field much to not play hard?

What is the world coming to when T guys are defending X (not that they need it)....but PR is exactly right.

You are implying things that are not what Coach Glaser is about. No need to put that statement out there.

St X scored on a fumble and the first 3 offensive plays to go up 28-0 early in the first quarter and was substituting freely before the end of the first quarter. This game was not as close as the score indicates. St x was not sending a message this was a total mismatch and not fun for anyone involved.

What people don't often realize, but Northern Kentucky fans have said on the message board, is that St. X's J.V will match up well with most varsity teams in the state. With that said, what are the players, who might rarely get in a varsity game, suppose to do?

How do you tell a junior or senior third stringer to "back off"? Play half speed and get your clock cleaned, blow a knee because you stand straight up on the line?
