  1. That's what I thought it said too. Not bad at all.
  2. Grant Brannen and his staff work very hard. Congrats to them, and the Breds, on the victory. Best of luck to both at the BOK. What a venue!
  3. Congrats to Alan Mullins and the Raiders.
  4. I'm sorry if we disagree, but that was the correct call to make, and one that had to be made. Jordan wrapped O'Conner up while in the air, which is why the IF was called. I do agree that it was the turning point in the game though.
  5. I would hope that no one comes here to bash Scott Code. He's one of the very best coaches in the area and it would be a shame if people were to blame this on him.
  6. Great year for the Greendevils. Tough way to end, but I'm sure their coaches and fans are proud!
  7. So, if Mason can't host, does it go up for grabs? How does that work?
  8. I may be wrong, and very well could be, but how could the "core" of last years freshman team be on the court at the same time? I thought Fardo was starting Varsity? Maybe I am ignorant, but I thought I saw that somewhere. Also, Bezold didn't even come out this year...and he was a MAJOR factor in Brossart's success last season.
  9. Congrats to the Bulldogs and Eagles on outstanding seasons! Holmes has an unreal freshman team, and Coach Kaiser did an amazing job last night! I think everyone knew what Scott was capable of doing, and last night was a fun game to watch. Nick Jackson had his third double-double of the tournament, and if there were an MVP, he would be it. Congrats to the Eagles, and to the Bulldogs. Great game.
  10. One of the greatest men I have ever met!!! Congrats to you Benny! But most of all, thanks...
  11. Ryle had a great freshman team last year, no doubt that these kids played a huge role in their success. I saw their regional tournament win over Dixie last year, and remember being very impressed by their younger kids.
  12. I don't remember Highlands having a freshman team in recent years? Or maybe you were being sarcastic, and I didn't pick up on that.
  13. I believe I read your post before I commented the last time. Please don't say I'm lying, when you crushed our "moxy boy." You singled him out as averaging more turnovers per game than points. You indirectly said he was the biggest problem on Conner's freshman team. Maybe you should apologize, instead of spinning this back on us.
  14. Wow! Now, I've only seen him play a few times, but he never appeared to be the problem on this Conner team. I thought he played VERY well Saturday, and in fact, was the reason Conner was in the game at all. Kunkel did play.
  15. I'm sure there was a lot of disappointment from the players, coaches and fans, but Highlands did have a GREAT year and has nothing to be ashamed of.
  16. Everyone has their opinion on the kids from Cooper playing down, but it is true they've played down all year long, so why stop now? Personally, I would much rather a kid play freshman, or play JV/Varsity. Sharing kids makes for a long season, both for the player, and their coaches. Coach Sullivan wants his kids to learn how to win, and win together...and it's paid off.
  17. IMO Kellen Smith is the best PG in the region. I'm sure that could be debated until the cows come home, but he can flat out play. With, or without Robbie Stenzel, GRC/Scott is always a great game.
