  1. That is exactly what I see happening, and the NCAA cashing a big check because of it.
  2. Any seeding of the tournament will eventually lead to classifying it.
  3. Nicholas County hadn't won the All A in a very long time. With that happening and them being the #1 seed in the 38th District, I can see how Morris got the nod.
  4. Coach Feldhaus took Coach Thelen to school last night. The veteran had a game plan that the Colonels had no counter. Central spread it and were patient versus the up “in you pressure” they just went by the defender under control and took advantage of size differential. The Colonels tried bringing help from different areas of the floor but Central punished it by making extra pass to vacated areas. The Colonels did not change anything on defensive end and very impressed by Central’s poise. It is only one game in a hostile gym, but was interesting to see how the Colonels would fare versus a team with skilled size. I still expect the Colonels to roll right through the region by double figures, maybe even 20+ and then meet whoever survives the 7th Region.
  5. Heard it was back towards the lockerroom per bystanders.
  6. Is it true the HC coaches had to be separated after the game? Losing the All-A final at home has begun a bit of a spiral.
  7. I believe he works for BSN Sports.
  8. They could just try and move down to 3A? Bathiany ain’t leaving Moeller to go to Highlands.
  9. Maybe so, but if you were completely confident you would know NCC is coming open. In addition, these last two years wore EE out and he is one heckuva coach and very little was the coaching side. CCH had a great season, unfortunately, 4A was stupid loaded. You got to be balanced a bit and be able to pass the ball especially when you are behind.
  10. It’s coming open. They are coming for him. Terry Brown gets second call.
  11. Dang Boyle is going to drive Eviston into taking the NCC job.
  12. Will Highlands now look to move to 3A?
  13. I am of the belief that the arena being as old as it is and in it's current shape is the reason that Cincinnati doesn't host anything on a national stage indoors. Hosted a "Frozen Four" once and a Women's Final Four around 30 years ago. But for as big as Cincinnati is to not be in the rotation for at a minimum first round NCAA tournament games says what the nation thinks of Heritage Bank Center. The occasional big concert and the Cyclones is pretty much all it is used for.
  14. The arena being downtown is nice. That is it though. Place needed some TNT a long time ago.
  15. It means they are being brought in by the individuals who work there.
  16. Well, that's definitely part of the deal at that level.
  17. Division II has not been kind Saints.
  18. I'd say most first round games have the following money wise: The host team is lucky to break even cause the traveling team brings no one, especially for a 1v4 game. They might bring 50 parents. The team traveling loses money after paying for one or two busses, a team meal, etc. And most of the time this is for a 50 point loss. In short the main reason these games are cancelled is money.
  19. Zac should be trying to buy time. He needs to find a way to have this team in position to have a chance when #9 returns. I believe the only way Burrow doesn't take a snap again this year is if they have no chance of making the playoffs when he would be able to return. For the trying to save his job crowd, I always laugh at that in pro sports when it comes to coaches. The money is guaranteed unless you do something highly unethical. The coin is going to hit the direct deposit, wether he is the coach or not. This isn't the same situation like a high school coach trying to hang on to his small stipend.
  20. Bengals get: Flacco and a 6th round pick Browns get: 5th round pick and one day closer to the Sanders saga being on the field. The had to do something that gave them a punchers chance. If all else fails maybe he can throw a couple YOLO balls a game and hope for the best. I also don't think he sits this week at all. He's 40 years old and knows football. He can know a game plan by Sunday. If all else fails, throw it to #1.
  21. How do you not cover Lorenzen on a seam route in that situation? CovCath lost all leverage in 4A by allowing a team to go length of field with 41 seconds. Personal foul penalty and not covering the player who everyone knew they were going to. Implosion!
  22. 1. Ones who hold up a concession stand line asking how much does something cost, asking do you have something not on the menu, etc. The lines can be long at these, you have time to read the menu waiting. 2. The amount of people with tumblers or stanley cups coming into a stadium. Also seems to me that a lot of people who hold these seem to stand on fence lines near the line of scrimmage and get louder as the game goes on. 3. (For big games only- and especially at small stadiums) The person who thinks they can get there early and hold a whole row of seats for the group they are with. 4. The language you hear in the stands. I know people are passionate, but you're not in the 700 level of Veterans Stadium. 5. The ex-player who sits in the stands every Friday night, often criticizes the program, and somehow has become a much better player than what he actually was or what people remember.
  23. That makes for a lot tougher sledding for both of these programs.
  24. Holy Cross doesn’t need a shopping cart with one of those poles sticking straight up like you see at the Dollar General, to keep people from taking carts out of store or to see what aisle one is in. HC firmly shopping in the canned good aisle. Another tomato can being put in basket.
