32 is probably what it should be and move football up to 16.

Yes and No to me.  I mean, so many teams get in, why not the Redhawks too..

That is exactly what I see happening, and the NCAA cashing a big check because of it. 

They are still in in my opinion.

The bracketologists I have heard on this say Miami will not be in Dayton. They have them at an 11 seed. A help to them is this is being called one of the worst groups of bubble teams in quite a while. All the bubble teams are losing and that has made the decision on Miami easier.

Miami (OH) is 37th in Wins above bubble metric with rating of 1.70. If they get in it will be because of this because the NET rating is not good at 64th.

Totally agree.

Here is the Miami situation. Tell Auburn to get in the tournament they have to schedule Miami for the next 2 years. Auburn will say no. That's why Miami's schedule is what it is. Power conference schools wouldn't schedule them. I heard they contacted 85 power conference and better quality D1 schools and no one would schedule them.

There's zero chance 85 P5 refused to schedule them. I'm sure that's what Miami wants everyone to think. 

Saw a stat last week, so forgive me if I do not have this 100% accurate. 

Since the expansion of the tournament to 64 teams (mid-80s), there has been one power conference team with a losing conference record to make the Final Four. There have been 10 mid-majors. This is not a statement that I believe Miami (OH) is anywhere near Final Four caliber... they're not. But neither is Auburn, nor whatever flailing power-school making their plea. I am a lot more concerned with appropriate seeding for the top seeds than with metrics like NET ratings, SOS, or whatever variables are being used to make the case for a 10th-place conference team getting in as team 68. The point being, it is silly discourse.
