This whole thread while reading it, all I could think was some old man yelling “Get off my grass!” Lol. At least the 10th has options. In the 8th it’s always at Henry County. No easy way to get there and when they make it to region, they get that extra money too. As for the distance, the 8th goes from Simon Kenton to Spencer County. Long enough drive that games are scheduled on weekends. True fans will travel to watch, even in NKY.

Should be a decent game. If HC plays like tonight, not close. They played very well tonight.

Balanced scoring meaning exactly what was said, get more involved and keep them involved. In my opinion, the team last year could’ve done some special things with the level of scorers they had. To beat the better teams takes more than just one or two to carry the load.

Really don’t think that NCC and Conner are better than Holy Cross. I guess after this week in the All A will at least fix one of them.

Holy Cross has a senior transfer from Grant County, Hanna Robinson. Can really shoot the ball and the team looked really good this summer when all together. With the dominant play of Hunt inside and the way they move the ball, should be a fun season for the girls. They should compete with everyone.

Blake did not leave due to the coach being unprofessional, we moved. I should know because this is Matt, the father of Blake. He was given the option and he chose to leave. As for my daughter, the same was offered to her due to the change of address. The total dynamic at Grant had changed and was not an environment they chose to stay. So, I wouldn't say it was a "Robinson thing". To comment on the post about the kids transferring, there have been several do so or just quit all together. Oh, she didn't yell at him to keep him in, she said he made one mistake and he was pulled. Different rules for different players.

This is one of the reasons I commented on the predictions everyone was making. The boys still have to play the game. Holy Cross beating Beechwood last night was another one. Great time of year and anything can and probably will.

HC matched up well with Beechwood this year. This game was fun to watch, but the end got a little chirpy. Couple hard fouls on Meyer late, one was an intentional. Great game by HC and now have to get ready for Cov Cath.

This should’ve been played in the next round. The draw is horrible.

Sounds like it was a good game. Both have shooters, but Beechwood is a tough team.
