Tuesday night at 7:00 the final 10th clash of the season takes place at Holmes High School when heavy favorite George Rogers Clark squares off with Bracken County. 

The Cards took care of business against Mason County in the semifinals and will look to duplicate a 32 point victory over the Polar Bears three weeks ago.  GRC's size and depth, at least on paper, seem to be too much for the 39th District Runner-Up.

Bracken's magical season has been something to watch, particularly a pair of Overtime victories in the Regional Tournament.  The Polar Bears are undersized, but possess fantastic guard play and a never-say-die mentality.

Do the boys from Brooksville stand a chance or will it be business as usual for GRC?

Feel GRC will win but I have good friends from Bracken and will be rooting for the Polar Bears!

I think GRC will win but I would love to see Bracken County win! 

Clark County as the looks of a team on a mission to win a state championship. This game will not block their path. No team has defeated them in the state this year. 

I feel like Mason, Campbell, & Harrison all match up better with GRC, even though Bracken beat Campbell & Harrison twice.  For the Polar Bears to have a chance, they'll have to slow the game down, limit turnovers, & try to keep GRC from completely dominating the glass.

Clark by 15.  But I have yet to pick Bracken to win a game in this tournament, so this should make them happy. LOL

I don't think Bracken has a slow down gear.  I agree with Coach 12 - GRC by 25

Yeah I’m gonna say GRC by 30. I don’t think that Bracken will play slow. GRC will just trap the reed brothers and try to get ball in hands of the role players. Which I don’t think turns out well for Bracken.

I agree with the room, I think the Bracken County dream post-season run comes to a screeching halt in the 10th.  I feel like, not to beat a dead horse, but turnovers (and lots of them) will be Bracken's undoing tonight and GRC turns this thing on its side pretty quickly.  

Bracken County has become a deserving Cinderella this week.  The 10th Region "A" Champs have done everything asked of them, overcome adversity, created adversity, and are still here to play in their first championship game since 1955.

There are things that you can overcome, but GRC is not one of them.  I think that Bracken County will put some points on the board, and I don't think that the GRC press will cause them to wilt, however, 32 minutes against a deeper, more talented (overall) blue-blooded team will lead to their undoing.

I hope that they will not be embarrassed.  I don't think that will happen, and as foolish as it might seem, I don't think we will see a 20-30 point gap.

Too bad that there is not some mere mortal 10th Region team awaiting them, but this is not the case.  May be a trip over the track for bigger things ahead - like an All "A" State Title - down the road, and another run to the finals while the Reeds still wear the uniform.
