Was at the 38th tonight in Falmouth and this game was the scuttlebutt in the crowd.  Sounds like a dandy.

This should’ve been played in the next round. The draw is horrible.

There are only a couple of districts left that draw.  It has long been my understanding that a majority (3/4) of the district schools would have to agree to change to seeding (unless mandated by the state).  It has also long been my understanding that St. Patrick and Augusta have been the holdouts.  

Given the makeup of the district (2 tiny schools, one small school and one medium school), it’s easy to see why the tiny schools do what they perceive to be in their best interests. 

Riley Mastin is only a sophomore and I think was the best player on the floor tonight.  What a great game from him and unfortunate he fouled out.

Nate Mitchell and Kason Hinson also with great game tonight.  Augusta led for 30 minutes but the last 2 went to Mason County

Augusta loses nobody and will be one of the top teams in the region next year.

That is impressive for Mason to have been able to pull out a win in the face of that torrid shooting,
