Boone hits 14-3s! Cole Shumate was terrific creating his own shot and Jake Barth didn’t hit rim all night. I believe these two hit 12 maybe 13 of 14! Really good district game!

Credit goes to Cooper in this one! They played the game the way needed to win this one! Typical Cooper/Conner rock fight! Foul trouble, bad shooting and intense defense! Conner is still trying to find their way without one of their best offensive weapons and either top or second leading scorer! I fully expect a different game in January, until then Conner will need to look and need a second option! I’m sure Coach Otte will make necessary adjustments!

Rhet and Cam couldn’t miss, great game for those two as expected! Owen is a absolute beast, he will out work you if you don’t put body on him! Matt wasn’t as aggressive in this game offensively as he was during Cooper game but he is a really player with a lot of size for his position, creates matchup problems! Conner is fortunate to get out with a W! Special shout out to the St.Henry broadcast team with a heck of a job and final call to finish the game! Great job!

I really like St. Henry! Coach Faust arguably had one of the deepest Varsity/JV rosters in the state last year. Really nice win against a very much improved Cooper team, who had a good win against a talented Woodford County team during scrimmages! Next 3 for St. Henry- Conner, Cov Cath, Highlands!

Conner ran out to a 23-5 lead after 1st quarter ultimately beating South Laurel 59-47. Led by, Landen Hamilton 20 points, Dan Campbell 10points 9rebounds, Alex Castrucci 10points.

Oldham County is hosting Conner 11/13.

This summer I was fortunate enough to be able to catch several summer scrimmages, including 8 of the coaches top 10, excluding Highlands & Beechwood. I think the coaches preseason rankings seems to be pretty on point based off what i was able to watch this summer. I dont see anyone challenging Cov Cath in NKY this year unless its just one of those special games or performances. In regards to "dark horse" teams. If Holy Cross can get some production from Javier and Big Sam Gibson they could be a top 3-4 team in the region. ST Henry- Of all teams i watched this summer, i was most impressed with how well St. Henry played especially after losing so many seniors. I couldnt believe how much size they still had. If they get some good guard play this team could really surprise some teams. Lloyd- I was really impressed with how hard Coach Walker had these guys playing this summer. They have really good combination of size and guard play. I look for Lloyd to make some noise and move up in the rankings.

I understand Horn will be moving on, any thoughts where he will be? I assume Highlands is in equation if this is true!

Nice Covid pick up game for both teams, hopefully both teams can work out a future home and home.

Wow great win tonight for the Raiders! The 9th region is loaded again and until knocked off Ryle is the favorite to win state again in my opinion! On side note kudos to Anderson County for making the trip under unusual circumstances, some may have called It off and turned around and went home!
