  1. Louisville Male had a good weekend however ran into a really good Tates Creek team. I don’t know much about Tates Creek but they have had a really good run so far without much of a challenge from anyone, other then a 9 point win over Scott County. This could be a team to watch next year to make a little noise.
  2. @Coach34- that’s I correct- I would think one way or other there should be an announcement coming soon.
  3. No idea if this is true but the name im hearing is Michelle Gambrel.
  4. In all due respect my info was my opinion as indicated in thread, not facts! I’ve heard several schools(including Hughes) on his list from both him personally and others in his camp! If he lands at Hughes that would be awesome to see him and PM play together. Special combination!
  5. His name is Rayvon Griffith! Yes, if this is the young man you are referring to then he is an immediate impact player and would be in the rotation for sure. Rayvon is a tremendous talent and even better kid! This young man improves any school he goes to! I personally see him staying in Cincinnati (Possibly Moeller where he just shadowed two short weeks ago or even Oyler). If he chooses CCH and you add him to the other pieces they already have then watch out 9th region and rest of state!
  6. I like North Oldham a bunch next year and I also think Simon will be way better then most will give credit.
  7. Chandler is a nice player with a great frame but I would be shocked if he sees any varsity minutes next year. I have watched him and his game grow over the last 4 years, still has a lot of work to do before we declare him the best player in Northern Kentucky.
  8. No disprespect to the Kings,Matrix,Prime but there is no team even close to D1 in this 8th grade state except Manimal.. The other top KY teams in this grade are playing in real tournaments! Unfortunately the state tournament has zero interest anymore - very unfortunate because there are a lot of great teams in Kentucky!
  9. I know this Manimal Elite Gold team was not apart of the circuit last year but is this year. By in large they pretty much have the same team back from last year. They played a loaded schedule last year and was very successful. They will be tough out!
  10. IMO everyone is playing for second place in the 8th grade Boys Division. I don't believe Manimal Gold out of Louisville will even get challenged.
  11. Im very familiar with the 3 Ohio Kids, I more curious about any kids from Northern Kentucky that don’t already feed into Cov Cath.
  12. Has anyone heard of any additional non feeder school kids going to either Cov Cath or St. Henry next year that could make an impact on either roster?
  13. I know there are a minimum of 3 non feeder(Ohio) kids that will be going to Cov Cath next year. All 3 of these kids will start immediately and ultimately could have significant impact for Cov Cath in the upcoming years. I wouldn't be surprised if two of them see JV minutes. Cov Cath just keep reloading!
  14. Did anyone by any chance get the list of all tournament honors for this years JV tournament? Several worthy receipients!
  15. Do they name all-tournament teams for Fresh and JV tournament this year? If so who were some of the players who received the honor?
  16. I watched the Conner/Cooper semi-final game and Jennings was the stand out without question. He dominated offensively both in scoring and on glass. This Cooper JV team has a lot of experience and they really do a nice job (I believe all 5 starters are juniors, but I could be wrong).
  17. Beechwood has a very nice 8th grade team. They have dominated small division and can compete with any large school division. They have some really nice players, bright future!
  18. Sorry, response was in regards to the St.Henry-Beechwood matchup. The question was asked if any of the heralded 8th graders got moved up.
  19. NO 8th graders moved up in this matchup. I think they could've helped in this one.
  20. Bally’s tall kid name is Caleb Brooks and he absolutely would make difference in upcoming game.. If Twenhofel makes shots they will be tough to beat. I will also pick Twenhofel in what the majority would call an upset. In Highlands - Conner matchup, It would be hard to go against Highlands. If Conner makes shots and slows down Robinson and Herlad they will have a shot, big if!
  21. In 7th grade, Conner over Ockerman double digits. St.Pius over Turkeyfoot in offensive struggle. Highlands over Camp Ernst. Bally up at half against Twenhofel.
  22. In 7th grade, Conner over Ockerman double degits. St.Pius over Turkeyfoor in offensive struggle. Highlands leanding Camp Ernst at Halftime.
  23. 7th grade Ockerman over CC. Twenhofel over IHM.
  24. 8th grade updates- Woodland in a close game over Camp Ernst. Twenhofel looked very impressive against IHM. Conner with double digit win over Turkey Foot.
