IMO- No chance anyone is beating St Pius!! Only way it happens, is if one of the three teams get crazy hot and St Pius goes crazy cold, otherwise no chance!

7th grade - 3 of the 4 games never really in question / CE over TF CC over Ockerman - CC with big come back Highlands over Woodland Conner over Holmes Thursday CE/CC Highlands/Conner Earlier this year: CE rolled CC - Conner is 3-0 against Highlands Two great games, hard to pick winners of these two games!!

7th grade- my prediction- Highlands over woodland Conner over Holmes Turkeyfoot over CE CC over Ockerman I think 2 or three of these games are a coin flip-

7th grade wide open: Camp Ernst, Highlands, Conner, CC, Holmes and Turkeyfoot all have a shot! This Class is loaded with talent!

There is a lot going on with the state tournament but in our region there are some big match ups this week that have seed implications for next weeks tournament!

CC 7th beat Holmes on Saturday-

Conner @ Ockerman Conner 6th loses by a bunch Conner 7th won by a bunch Turkeyfoot 6th loses to CC by 15 or so- Turkeyfoot 7th over CC 59-49 Turkeyfoot 8th over CC 46-34

Kenton County not alone, Boone County discourages also!! I believe Boone County allows two tournaments total and anything else needs to be voted on by the board! This stems from a rule that doesn’t allow the schools to play on Sundays unless there is boardd approval!! . It’s very unfortunate because there are several good teams in Northern Kentucky that don’t get the chance they deserve!!

IMO- If all players are back and didn’t get moved up N.Laurel would be the favorite- N.Oldham and JCTMS have a real shot to challenge N.Laurel.. Dark horses If bracket falls right -Westport, Conner & Crosby..

Dayton final results- 6th- Highlands stopping a surprising run from Summit View to win 6th grade Champioship.. 7th- Conner wins 7th grade over Highlands! 8th- Newport /Beechwood In finals- not sure who end up winning- Newport did Beat Beechwood easily in previous matchup of this tournament-

7th grade Dayton - St.Thomas over Beechwood! They will play Highlands tomorrow, winner getting Conner in the finals! Sorry that i don’t have any 6th or 8th grade updates...

@Brcatz- you left two early- both teams put on offensive show - very fun to watch! Conners two guards just went on a tear last 8-9 minutes-they easily hit 12to13 3s between them..

I have been told Harold is #3 not 23- #3 was terrific hit several 3’s many and got to home easily, #23 also had a nice game!

7th grade- Conner victorious in a shootout against Highlands - Highlands led by #23(Harold) was terrific as The birds hit 12–3s... Two guards from Conner (#4) were huge maybe 50 of 58- Great middle school game, both fan bases should be excited about these two teams!!

7th grade- 1/2 of the Semi-final was determined last night in Dayton- Highland over Beechwood -47-37 Conner over St. Thomas-51-26 Coming Tonight- Conner/Highlands Bottom Half Woodland/Beechwood for second time this tournament Summit View/ St.Thomas Should be three good games-

Dayton 7th - Beechwood/Highlands 30-30 end of 3- good game going!!

Games over last two days- All 7th: In Dayton- Semi matchups: St.Thomas plays Conner Beechwood plays Highlands In loser Bracket Woodland over RAJones- League Play: Beechwood over Newport Conner big at Highlands Camp Ernst over CC Woodland narrow victory over Pius Ockerman in tight one over Twenhofel Turkeyfoot big over IHM

7th grade tournament going to be up for grabs!! CC loses by 25 and plays best player 12 minutes, scratch your head on that one.. This years confernce Tournaments shoulde be fun with exception of 6th, someone will need to make miracle run to beat St.Pius!

Big school records will be updated Thursday- Some notes from Holiday Tournaments and small school games- Small school over last few weeks- 7th Beechwood as expected has dominated competition including a great win against Highlands and only losing to Very talented RA Jones team- St. Nick tournmnet 6th- Ockerman and IHM the best two teams with iHM winning easily in the championship- Conner wins 7th grade final by beating Ockerman 43-20 in finals- CCounty takes a surprising victory away from Conner 8th in the final in a very tight game coming down to final seconds- Dayton- 7th grade results- St.Thomas over Dayton- Conner over RA Jones Beechwood over Woodland Highlands over Sharp Two really good games coming up in second round - Conner /St. Thomas Beechwood/Highlands Look for new standings end of week

A game mostly dominated by Conner, up as much as 12 in 4th quarter slipped away as Camp Ernst wins by 2 in closing seconds. Very good game played at high level.
