  1. Harney was really really good in this one. He continues to impress me more and more every time I see him play.
  2. Cooper will not be the underdog very often but I have to give the nod to SHA in this one! I really like how both these teams have gone out and played powerhouses early in the schedule. SHA by 6-8
  3. Sorry to here about this, prayers to you and your family!
  4. I I made the attempt but it appears Cooper no longer has a streaming service. If this is incorrect and if you know the platform that they use to stream games, I would love to know it!
  5. Conner jumped all over Dixie from the tip. Halftime score 42-17 with the largest lead extending 60-28. Conner was led by Dalton Kramer 19, Ayden Lohr 18, Landen Hamilton 13 (limited to 8-10 minutes). Dixie has a lot of nice young talent! Outside of Hudson Blank there isn't much varsity experience on the roster. I look for Dixie to be much improved by mid year.
  6. I watched Great Crossing Scrimmage Western in the preseason and I'm not convinced Great Crossing is deserving of the BGP #5 ranking, yet! They are loaded with talent and will just continue to get better but I think the experience, the crazies and the discipline of Cov Cath will be to much for Great Crossing tonight. Cov Cath by 10-15.
  7. I attended this game last night. It has been said many of times already, but Cooper is a major problem for the rest of the 9th region. They have so many players who can lead them on any given night. It's going to take a special effort from a team to knock this Jags group off in the 9th. Very impressive win against a very solid Dixie team!
  8. These two teams opened the season last year with a very similar game, Conner winning by 6.
  9. In my opinion if Cov Cath contains Krohman, which I think they will, this becomes very one sided. Cov Cath 15-20!
  10. Wow, those are some staggering shooting percentages! Congrats to Carter Krohman, he has had a really nice high school career!
  11. Henry Clay led entire game, the margin of 12 was never greater. The margin hoovered around 5-8 most of the game. Henry Clay is coached really well! They created a lot of open looks from three and knocked several down. Conner was Led by Dan Campbell. Both Ayden Lohr and Landen Hamilton were out.
  12. I was there and I didn’t see any evidence of that. I didn’t see anything intentional but yes lt was physical at times. I have not seen the Polar Bears play but I understand this is how they play! They play hard and aggressive! The stream was made available by @Brcatz I think those who take time to watch would agree.
  13. Good scrimmage for both teams. The scoreboard will show a win by Bracken by 3, however the game played out much differently! Conner led comfortably the entire first half and added to the lead in the second half before pulling starters around 13 minutes left in second half, up over 20! Conner was led by Ayden Lohr, D Campbell, Dalton Kramer and Grant Reece! Bracken was led by Blake Reed! Bracken had their most success when speeding the game up and getting points off turnovers. What they lack in size they make up in tenacity! The Reed brothers were solid but struggled offensively with the first group of Conner! I can see why the Bracken faithful support these Polar Bears! They are fun to watch, they share the ball and they get after It defensively!
  14. Did anyone catch St Henry versus Walton scrimmage last night? If so how did senior led St Henry look?
  15. I did not realize the Feagan brothers left SK and went back to Williamstown. I know its only a scrimmage, but this is a pretty good win.
  16. I agree with this statement! Travis was terrific and efficient! SK does a really nice job structuring offense around him! He’s going to have a nice year!
  17. As stated in my post, HC was without a few starters!
  18. This should be expected he took nearly 800 shots of the teams 1900 attempts last year. This won’t change this year! HC will go as far as Jake Meyer takes them. I will add this there are some will argue he should shoot more and with his overall field goal percentage maybe he should.
  19. I was able to watch 2 games. Conner- Male Holy Cross - Danville Christian Male beat Conner by 5 in a game that was hard to watch. More fouls and turnovers then points. Males style of play, very intense scrappy trapping full court press off makes and misses, dictated a lot of the chaos. Male was led by a senior core and a very promising 8th grader who had 11 points!! Conner was led by Anna Hamilton with 18 or 20. Conner missing two starters in this one including Juliet Strange! Holy Cross- Danville- Danville led from the tip and didn’t look back! Holy Cross made a push late second half but came up short. Julia Hunt played well but is still getting into basketball shape! Holy Cross was without a few starters! Danville has a 6’3-4’ sophomore that has amazing potential. She was best player on the floor in this game!
  20. Unless playing in the state semi-finals! Today both Gabe and Sam played as expected in my opinion.
  21. My initial thoughts as well, but admittedly I don't know enough about the rules to really know. It would seem to me that if this report is true that there would be some amount of time he would not be eligible.
  22. If the JagsHoopsReport is accurate then Cooper without question becomes the easy favorite in the 9th. The addition of former Boone standout and most recently West Clermont transfer James Pouncy will make the Jags a tough out!
  23. Incredible set regardless where they these two teams end up! Wow Wow Wow!
