I think that La Salle will win by 10-14 points. If CovCath plays a good game with minimal penalties they may be able to pull off a close victory.

It is all about match-ups. We may not see a true top 10 until after district play is over.

Tough district to be in. I thought Conner would give HHS a game but I really thought the HHS defense would carry them.

They have really good QBs in the 6th, 8th & 9th grade.

I agree with this, I don’t think there is much of a chance for a running clock in this matchup.

I don't think Highlands is quite near the level of CovCath but do feel that game will be entertaining to watch just for the defensive reasons. CovCath will keep Highlands defense on the field too long and simply overpower them.

This will be interesting, Ryle’s offense is still developing and having just come off a loss to a big time Ohio power with a lot of D1 talent, will they be ready to right the ship?

After seeing both teams play, it will be a defensive battle but CCH has too much on offense for HHS to compete with. I think CCH will win by a few scores.

I wouldn’t put my best defensive player on the O-Line. The O-Line would wear him down and make him less effective on the defensive side of the ball. Now if you are talking about putting him in at TE in certain situations, I might think about it.

Royer is very talented, in this game he played a lot better than Mayer did in the 1st game of the season. Of course that may also be due to the level of talent around him. There is a whole lot of D1 talent on this Elder team.

He should play receiver, he is more dangerous there. They are pretty one dimensional when he plays QB.

Ryle has had teams that would compete with big Ohio schools in recent memory. The 2015-16 and 2016-17 and even 2017-18 teams all would have played every one of these games down to the wire. Right now, Ryle is trying to develop an offensive identity but they do have one of the better defenses that they have ever had.

Tisdale is a special talent and one I got to see when he was in middle school. I hate to hear they aren't playing him on offense but there has to be a valid reason. I would think in a playoff stretch he will be utilized but they as a team need to get there and he needs to be healthy when they get there.

I really don't think it will be that bad. The offense is struggling but the defense is still playing very well.

The most important thing for Ryle is to come out of this game healthy.

Cooper has been that way for years, they generally only play 14-15 kids consistently and it wears them down.

Ryle’s run defense is really good so I didn’t expect anything more than minimal yards out of the backfield regardless of who would be running the ball.

A couple of Ryle’s Interior DL we’re getting double and triple teamed. Highlands must have been worried about 25 and 52.

If the Ryle defense wasn’t put into 2 very bad field positions, this game would be even.
