As I said earlier in the week, Weinrich can beat most teams that are one dimensional. Offense no better than last years version despite change in coaches.

Hated like heck that Braydon was not able to play. That would have been an interesting game with any passing threat. Ryle’s defense is good. Congrats to Birds. Total yardage stats have to be pathetic for both teams.

The scoreboard doesn’t tell the tale of the tape.

Ryle’s offense was severely outcoached.

Stanken came in for Ryle and looked decent, hopefully a week of practice can help him adjust back into the role of QB.

However, no matter what Ryle has to figure its offense out before districts begin in 3 weeks.

 

The defense just needs to keep it up.

Birds offensive line failed to show up.

Incredible amount of plays for negative yardage. I would guess Ryle took Hollingsworth down 15 times behind the LOS. Ryle’s offense pathetic against good teams like CovCath and Highlands.

Highlands had a great defensive game plan and halftime adjustments. Ryle defense played tough but a strong defense can only last so long on a short field.

 

Highlands offensive line struggled but eventually got their players in space to make plays. Ryle’s offensive was grossly predictable and totally underutilized the teams talent.

Ok. Highlands finally changed it up late with 2 backs and actually pulled some guards towards the end of the game.

 

Ryle never changed from one back and was anemic at best.
