Tyler King. I’ve always felt that in order to generate more pride in the program they need to bring back former players like the football team did with the Grays.

Former player, assistant coach and current assistant coach at Boone County would be a great fit.👀

What is Males national ranking up to now?

I have to say this is the 3rd time I have watched Dixie in person this season and they are tough. Watching them I’m surprised this isn’t a 7 or 8 win team.

This proves the point for change. The program has lost its traditions & that hurts your program a lot. If you lose tradition you lose alumni. For high school football programs that’s traditionally a decent portion of your fan base and possible donations.

They had Kyle England who made plays out of nothing all season. The obvious problem was a misuse of players, no adjustment of the offense to fit what players they had. Why a coach would have no under center plays with a running back like that is mind blowing to me. The defense in my opinion was as good as they could be. The offensive play calling was a let down the entire season, not the athletes. I hang the majority of this teams struggle on offensive coaching. People can hate all they want on parents complaining on preps about coaches but when parents are calling your plays before they happen in the stands you more than likely have an issue.

Play calling was bad last year and even worse this year.

After another disappointing season is I have the question heard multiple times during the season... Is it time for changes at Ryle?

Keegan Points from Ryle who plays nose does not get near enough love. He’s played major minutes from a Freshman year to now as a senior.

England has had a great season with all things considered. He is a tough runner he has proven in my opinion he’s top 5 in NKY.

I think Ryle has two players that deserve a shout out. Niko Heckel- has had a great season and has played Center and Guard all season. Tate Teepen- played mostly RT. Most impressed to hear that this is only his second year ever playing. Ryle has a great Oline coach in Ryan. Hopefully he can assist both of these kids to get to the next level if that’s what they want to pursue.

If you had witnessed the play calling at the end of the Cooper and the Dixie game I’m sure this opinion would change. Both games were almost squandered in the last 2 minutes. Giving each opposing team a chance with the ball by passing on 3rd down and then punting against Cooper. Which gave them time instead of running it out. Then against Dixie passing on 3rd and 4th down on our 48 thus giving Dixie the ball with plenty of time left. This was the same Dixie that had multiple big gain pass plays on our defense, two of 60+ yards. In the 4th quarter Of both games our clock management was terrible and led to these questionable moments. On the play calling side we can also look historically at how this coach has tried to mold players to his offense which doesn’t work. This is the same reason Ryle wanted Warner gone. Successful coaches figure out the strengths of a team and exploit them. An elementary school student could tell you that Kyle England is this teams strength. On that note if anyone has witnessed any games or watched any film you would see he is hit in the backfield almost every time that they run. (Shotgun or pistol) England shows he’s special because most of the time he’s breaking two tackles before he is out of the backfield. Lastly on play calling Simon Kenton clearly showed blitz multiple times tonight and we failed to recognize this almost every time. It was noticeable. I understand how hard it is to be a coach and have parents complaining nonstop. Typically you do ignore them as it becomes a mocking bird culture when your losing. However in this case I believe there are some legitimate gripes by this parent group.

I witnessed Chase Crone play last night. That kid has unbelievable upside, his decision making is better than 90% of high school seniors and he was throwing dimes all night. He’s only a FRESHMAN!

Ryle has just loses it in these big games. Highlands and Simon Kenton should of been competitive games for Ryle. I will say it now and echo what I have heard in the stands all season, the play calling is awful. They have the workhorses for a pound the rock offense. Instead we are spreading out, makes no sense.
