What about to add to your idea which I think is great, Regional sites where you would play say two or three games at the same field. I am assuming it would be on turf but you could boost attendance if you were getting to watch more than one game. a lot like they do in bowl games at the beginning of the year.

What a stupid insensitive comment. NOT everyone makes the playoffs and for some tomorrow may be their last game or home game at least. Great tribute to all HELLBIRD, I know # 12 really will never forget it. I know for one it is always hard to realize it when it is over how fast the time has flied. I hope each and every senior in the state has had a wonderful experience over their career, no matter the outcome in the coming weeks.

Okay they have been down for the last two year and have a low winning percentage against the teams you named. Look at the 8 years before that and compare the winning percentage to this. The athletes are there, now there should be NO excuses next year.

DELETE, my bad reading too many post at once. I say leave it the way it is, you are going to have good teams and bad ones. Just look at some of the regular season scores. It is concerning about some of the travel teams have to pay for. That would be my only concern, is it worth the trip say for Boone County to travel or Jackson Co to go to Belfry

Barrel, it is true that a lot has happened in 4 years. The only winning seasons this program has ever had was in 2007, 2008 when Davis was there, then they have had 2 other head coaches since that time in a three year span. The record for the last three years barring a win on Friday is 6- 24. I know that the middle school program has seen success, since they were in the final four of the middle school playoffs the first year they had it. Young talent needs time in the weight room and time to develop in the new system and if they can keep the staff in place and add some quality coaches to the current staff maybe they can build it into a winner. Will the powers to be give Siple that long, I guess it depends on how much JAWS has, LOL. I do know that the lack of weight room because of NO head coach in place hurt this team. But also the apathy that is Grant County and the fact that as long as there are no issues with the program then the administration could care less weather you win or lose. As far as scheme, I have never believed the type of athletes to run the spread or Tony Franklin system was there. Now with that said I am not the coach there and if Siple thinks his schemes are the best then he should get the time to implement them and develop them. One thing about living in the community is that someone who is going to be the head coach there needs to get involved in the youth leagues and middle school, whether or not this goes on I do not know, where he lives should not matter if he is involved in the community. It is my understanding that they have plenty of money but with that money comes a lot of people who thinks they should have a say. Siple was hired to do a job, and the best thing that can happen is to let him do his job. Best of luck to the senior Braves this Friday as they go and play their last game of their high school career.

I will say this, success does not happen over night. It will take time to build the program. I can say that for two off seasons before this one they was no weights being hit due to the changing of coaches. In high school football that is hard to recover from. especially in the district they play in. One of the hardest things is to teach them how to win. With the current schedule that is what it looks like Siple is trying to do. I wish him and the team the best I know how hard it is to get parents, community and players to buy in when there is NO support at the top. I think some people have unreal expectations. This program is young and hopefully if Siple stays he can build it, but it is not going to happen overnight and changing coaches is not the answer. Look at they fact that they have only had one coach stay over 4 years, changing coaches every time things are not going well will lead to nothing but continued apathy and the results will not happen. They still have one game left, maybe they can make a turn for the best to lead into the off season.

I agree and think it is awful that the Cov.. Cath JV kids are being sslighted like that. All that hard work through the winter and hot summers for 4 ballgames is sad.
