This Friday Night will be the last time many of the players will buckle up the chin strap and take the field under the Friday Night Lights.

 

This is a thank you to all those seniors who have made memories for a lifetime, never forget!

What a stupid insensitive comment. NOT everyone makes the playoffs and for some tomorrow may be their last game or home game at least. Great tribute to all HELLBIRD, I know # 12 really will never forget it. I know for one it is always hard to realize it when it is over how fast the time has flied. I hope each and every senior in the state has had a wonderful experience over their career, no matter the outcome in the coming weeks.

After watching my son play for the past 12 years I can say time has moved by too quickly. Those that still have sons still playing appreciate every moment. I sure will miss it.

 

As one chapter of life closes for these young men another is just starting.

Some of the best memories a young man can have. We all have enjoyed their efforts on the field.

Special time and a special thanks to all the players who have given so much of their time and effort.

I have met some great coaches and life long friends through football these last 12 years which makes this even harder.

 

Just a few of the coaches who have helped mold the person my boy has become:

Coach Mullins, Coach Downs, Coach Matteiloli, Coach Perkins, Coach Hollis, Coach Walsh, Coach Borchers and not even mentioning all the assistant coaches throughout the years. Even the parents of some of my boys teammates we have become lifelong friends of. Football has been great for our family and I thank everyone for being a part of our lives and all you've done for our son.

 

Most importantly, thank you to all the players who have given their all to the game we love. Enjoy every minute of it, whether you are on the field or sidelines, remember how important you are to all your teammates and to all of us in the stands. You all have made oour Friday Nights unforgetable. So when you take the field, play every playy like it's your last, how do you want to be remembered? Make every play count....and thank you.
