  1. I was told Shelton interviewed yesterday. Not sure when others are scheduled.
  2. I agree with this point. Also how is a 25yo with 0 HC experience a home run hire to people? Also with a guy like that what's going to stop him from looking to other jobs as retirements are coming around.
  3. I've heard the school is wanting a teacher to take over. So I wouldn't expect anyone working outside of education to get the nod. But that depends on the interviews.
  4. They just installed the goalposts this week. Turf should begin Monday.
  5. They had 1 week of spring Ball, week 2 was cancelled due to field availability. A few assistants have been running weights since January 3 days a week.
  6. Bellevues issues with numbers are not due to one coach. In 15 years they have 8 head coaches. Add in the fact that you have BB and NCC in the county playing at a higher level consistently and having no district restrictions, there's a lot more to what's happened at Bellevue than one coach. A coach is only as good as the staff he surrounds himself with. There's already a young excited staff in place at Ludlow, that has been running weights and conditioning since January. The numbers are the biggest they have ever been and the facilities are going to be one of the best in the area. Regardless of who is at the helm to the kids will show up to play. Not to mention there's nearly 40 kids in the MS program. Why would they want to mess up any momentum with an outsider?
  7. So the one kid you talked to has no respect for him....got it.
  8. Coach Woody Mcmillen has been on staff at Ludlow for a few years and is the current baseball HC and a teacher. Would think he would probably be of interest?
  9. They did back in 2010, after that I'm unsure.

  11. The sites are dertermined in the spring prior to the season. Unfortunately, what tends to happen is with the games on rotation between school, they will offer to host and then when their team is not playing in the game they will back out. Not sure if this is what happend this year. But that was the case the past two years.
  12. In the 11 years I’ve been here it has only flooded once. But it will be turf infield and grass outfield. Similar to Bellevues field
  13. Thye school and city have partnered with the Reds. They will be getting a turf field down there.
