Beechwood's district game schedule continues this week with a trip to Gallatin County. Beechwood is 6-1 and 3-0 in the district. Gallatin County is the opposite, 1-6 and 0-3 in the district.

It has been a tough season for the Gallatin County Wildcats. They opened with a win over 1A Dayton and have lost 6 straight since then. They came close to a win against 1A Ludlow, falling by a score of 29-26. Soph. Noah Colwell-Honaker is the QB and also their second leading rusher. Sr. Titus Colwell-Honaker is the leading rusher. Sr. Nick Skidmore is the leading receiver and leads the team in scoring. The leader in tackles and sacks is soph. David Martinez.

Beechwood has been breezing their way through district play, outscoring their opposition 207-6 in their 3 district games. In the 2A state leaders for the season so far, the Tigers are the highest scoring offense in the state and their defense has allowed the fewest points in the state. The offense is high powered with Jr. QB Emmett Queen, Jr. WR Tyler Fryman, Jr. WR Nathan Pabst, Jr. TE Bo Sowder and Sr. RB Brody Aylor. The leading tackler is Jr. Colin Morris and Sr. Chase McDaniel leads the team in sacks.

Good luck and good health to both teams in this contest.

Beechwood running clock early. Stop by Hometown Pizza before or after the game.

I always enjoy Warsaw when I go and make that stop or at Sunset Grill.

Best pizza around. They also have great sandwiches.

As far as the game goes just stay healthy Beechwood. This won’t be much of a game like the last 3 weeks.

For some reason I am a big fan of Warsaw also. Love taking that ride.

14-0 Tigers in the 1st quarter 5:53 to go. First TD was a 15 yard pass from Queen to Fryman. 2nd TD was a 9 yard run by Brody Aylor. Nathan Pabst unfortunately went out injuried hope he is ok. Colson Laird is back tonight doing the kicking for the Tigers.
