  1. Call it what you want but my point is that Ryle along with every other 6A program in NKY has up and downs. That's just how it is with the large school districts. A indicator of how good a program/coaching staff/administration is how quickly can they rebound.
  2. As much as it pains me to say it(joking) SK has been the most stable team in NKY 6A over the past 5 or 6 years. Ryle, Dixie and CCHS all have had mixed results in that time frame.
  3. Public school's talent comes and goes in cycles. For anyone to say any different is just not true. I haven't had a dog in the fight for several years now but keep up with the times. Ryle is coming out of a cycle where they were down and the Ryle Faithful was jumping off of the ship like sinking rats. Campbell had a decent run ( would have like to seen deeper playoff runs) but is in the midst of trying to find out who they are or trying to be. The only team that has substained a decent run in recent years is SK and even they have had some bumps and bruises. Enjoy your team while they are having a good run. Hopefully it last for several season. Be careful of who you step on in the meantime because the fact still remains that your program will cycle down and the others will catch up.
  4. Is this game at Scott or Connor?
  5. Thanks! Thinking I may enjoy some basketball tonight
  6. I alwasy use CCHS for Campbell County and CC for Covington Catholic. Hope this helps.
  7. I would have to add Raliegh (not sure of the spelling) from CCHS. Big physical back and will get some considerable playing time as a Soph
  8. My apologies. I only read the last page. I already knew what the first 8 contained.
  9. I haven't taken the time to read the entire thread because it is the same story over and over. However I only had to read 5 post to see how great HHS is. Congrats on your thread highjack!
  10. IMO the Camel O line will be able to match the SK D line. Very experienced and good size as well. Keeping true with the Camel history the QB and the RBs are very hard nose, physical runners. If (and that's a big word) the Camels control the ball and limit the turnovers they come away with the win. Turnovers were a big culprit in last years losses but I'm sure Coach has been working on that.
  11. Every game is a snowflake. Comparing teams played never works. IMO Camels control the clock with the ground game. 4 yards and a cloud of dust. Camels defense is the true strength of the team. If they can pressure the yound SK QB this could be a long night for SK. I call a close game. 12-10 Camels.
  12. If you really were trying not to sound like a HOMER, you failed!
  13. 7 - Scott 5 - South Oldham 3 - Lloyd 2 - Ludlow 1 - Covington Catholic TB - South Oldham
  14. 7- Simon Kenton 5 - Beechwood 3- Pendleton 2 - Bellevue 1 - Newport TB Simon Kenton
  15. I am starting to think he is a plant to drive up memberships and internet hits. If he is not the site should consider it. LOL
  16. Campbell and Highlands ARE good teams.
  17. 7- Campbell County 5 - Ryle 3 - New Miami 2 - Carroll County 1 - Newport TB - CCHS
  18. Thanks. I just hope I don't get put on double secret probation.
  19. You are better than that.... Play like a champion! Do not play the could of would of should of game.
  20. Arguing with a SK fan is like playing chess with a pigeon.... Now matter how good you are the bird is going to :poop: on the board and strut around like it won anyway.
  21. A lot of importance being placed on a week two coaches poll. IMO this is preseason football. Sure it is nice to get a win on Friday Night but the real reason for these games is to get your team ready for District and playoffs spots. If SK feels this is what they need to do to get ready then so be it. As far as the schedule, 2 of the 3 teams they played are down severely this year so I will give them a pass on this. The point I am trying to make is who cares who is number one or two in week two of the season. The most important thing is winning the last game of the season! Now back to the show:popcorn:
