  1. Any suggestions on how to start running on pavement? I have been on an elyptical for the past year or so but when I try pavement I seem to lose my rythem and the soreness is something that I am going to have to get used too.
  2. Sorry for your loss. It was three years ago I had to put down the best dog in the world ( at least in my eyes) Mackenzie, Mack for short. She was an 11 year old English Bulldog. I got her when whe was small enough to sleep on the back of the couch nestled against my neck I thought I would never be able to love another like Mack. After some time my wife convinced me to adopt a bulldog from a rescue. Mrs Buttersworth will be with us three years in September. Hang in there.
  3. If we are thinking of the same kid he also has a rocket for an arm. Needs to work on accuracy thuogh. You are dead on though. Another tough nose kid that wouldn't mind running around you or through you. Whichever he prefers.
  4. I would disagree. I can't remember the exact score but Camels put up 30 plus on SK.
  5. I'm the first to say that I hate comparing common opponents but in the spirity of UK Fan. I watched CCHS play SK and Dixie. Taking away two turnovers the Camels moved the ball very well against SK but could't stop the SK offense. Camels offense against Dixie struggled. No running room at all. They were able to move the ball via short pass and connected on a post route for a TD. The other TD was on Special Teams. Again I am the first to say every game is like a snowflake but I'm using the same arguement I have heard on this forum a hundred times.
  6. IMO opinion Dixie had the tougher D. I have stated before it is all about matchups. My opinion is only based of what I saw personally and talking to players that played both teams. Again just one man's opinion.
  7. Just a friendly tip from your old friend Frank the Tank. Before you post, think about the statement for at least 24 hours. If you still think that it's not a ploy just to be heard go ahead and post. Dixie will be the preseason favorite to win the NKY 6A. They had the best defense in NKY last year with most returning. They have the most seasoned QB, and they a healthy receiving core including the best TE in NKY.
  8. Wow! What a thread. Back to your corners. I personally think it is a plot by the Obama Administration to bolster enrollment in Goverment Healthcare!
  9. The Camels have two canidates that will fill the role nicely. I have faith that Coach has a plan and all will be well in Camelville.
  10. Didn't SK loose to a team by two scoresthat barely beat CCHS who lost to Highlands by 50? I've said it once and I will say it again. Each game is like a snowflake and it's all about the matchups.
  11. I once had to give a 20 minute speach on how to make a PB&J sandwich for a public speaking class.
  12. I am a novice chef at best. My son loves fish and I'm a little nervouse to prepare. To you have an easy way?
  13. It's so cold that the hookers on Fountain Square are working from home.
  14. Come out of the cold it's messing with your mind. Dalton is a 2nd teir QB that just completed his third year. I would say that the majority of teams would be happy to trade. When is the last time Vick has done anything? That's why he lost his starting job this year.
  15. The only comparrison being made is that they all threw a lot of picks and they all seemed to have short memories about them. In this gimmick offense a lot of picks will be thrown.
  16. Are you crazy? Dalton throws a lot of picks but anyone that throws the ball as much as he does will. If this was Farve, McNabb, or even Breeze we wouldn't be having this converstation. Dalton has made the playoff three years running. He has broken both season records for yards and TDs buy a Bengal. This kid as won at every level and will turn the corner. Most NFL QBs are holding a clipboard until year three.
  17. ......I passed a Greyhound Bus and the dog was riding on the inside. ......That door to door salesmen are sticking to the screen door.
  18. Nope! I grew up the old fashion way that if it was on your plate you had to eat it. I would eat a pound of mashed potatoes just so I could bury the taste of the liver I them
  19. ....and one of the biggest and talented O-Linemen in NKY, Josh Griffith.
  20. No way! The first one ruled. The others were just aweful.
  21. I believe her name is Robin. Very different. Went there a week or so ago. More variety, easier access, and believe it or not fresher.
  22. "Festivus for the rest of us." One of my favorite episodes!
  23. I don't think that is the case and if it was then it was a foolish mistake. CC was better at stopping the run and matched well with Butler. Like someone said earlier every game is a snowflake
