Clyde Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Final. Expected a better game. Does this clinch the 1 seed for the Camels?
miamiu2009 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Camels are District Champs. They are way better than people are giving them credit for. Look for a nice run in the playoffs. Tight end had a few nice catches and a TD pass. O line dominated. Go Camels
fan4nascar Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Final. Expected a better game. Does this clinch the 1 seed for the Camels? I would think that it does, they defeated SK, Dixie, and Ryle...have they played Boone yet?
LoyalFan Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Congrats Camels! Wow! My WKU Tops are winning! My Camels are winning! Please don't wake me up! And I think Coach Lickert pulled a Willie T play tonight too!
StraightShooter Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Congrats to the Camels and Coach Lickert. Two district titles in two years is no accident. Some good coaching going on across the Licking.
2 Humped Camel Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Didn't expect that kind of score out of the Camels but Coach Lickert has them rolling. Congratulations on another district championship, I have a feeling there are many more coming to Alexandria.
memyselfandi Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 The difference between the last 2 games and this game is, the Camels played 4 quarters! Great game! So proud of these boys!
EastSideJunkie Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Camels must be better than most on here give them credit for!
Walter Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 The difference between the last 2 games and this game is, the Camels played 4 quarters! Great game! So proud of these boys! I asked Coach Lickert before the game in an interview what the key for tonights' game was...his answer was exactly what you posted above. "We must play 4 quarters." Biggest difference between CC in week 0 and now is that the Coaching staff has realized they have a power team. They are utilizing Durham to perfection in that offense. Very tough to defend because of his passing ability. He accounted for over 300 yards of total offense tonight...100+ rushing and 200+ passing. Camels host Boone next week...and Coach Lickert already had his boys motivated and fired up for next week with his post game speech.
dd734 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Congratulations to Coach Lickert and the Camels. Great job tonight!!!!!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
hrcarrier Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Congratulations to the Camels; sounds like things are firing on the right cylinders in good timing. I can see this team making a nice run in the playoffs if they play the way they are capable.
leatherneck Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Congrats Camels. I just hope the players aren't content with winning a district championship. Must forget about beating Ryle and winning the district today and start getting ready for Boone. Success can sometimes be a difficult thing to handle if you don't focus really hard. Again, congrats Camels.:thumb:

There is already some motivation for this team after what their JV said last year after their post game huddle and Coach Lickert did not let the boys forget it.
NKYfootballfan91 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Congrats to the Camels and Coach Lickert. Two district titles in two years is no accident. Some good coaching going on across the Licking. Lol. Yeah, why don't you give credit where credit is due. Thanks mister Durham. This is the problem with Kentucky high school football. You celebrate a team for being 3-7 and district champs. Where I come from, that's a crap year. Kentucky needs to go back to an 11 game season and top two teams in the district make the playoffs.
StraightShooter Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I understand what you are saying because Durham is fantastic. Coach deserves credit too.
