Camps are very important and it is better to go to camps that have multiple schools at different levels. (UC puts on a camp and has MAC coaches in attendance, DII and some NAIA). As siad previously you need to know where you fit and target those schools. At non D1 levels it is almost opposite as you have to show interest in attending that school and almost recruit them. Start with position coach and who recruits your area. I can tell you my son got a very nice DII scholarship without a coach setting foot in our house or on our high school campus. It is a lot of work but and you have to ask the tough questions early. Is there money, are you recruiting his position, etc. Last, but certainly not least, grades are very important. They want kids to come that they know will stick. They cannot afford too many misses at that level as they have limited funds. Good luck.

Why play in this game? There is nothing to gain and if you already have a scholarship why risk an injury after not doing anything football wise for six months. Seems it would be better to have this game in November. Just my opinion.

Campbell County's Josh Griffith will be in this conversation. 6'7" 310 lbs. Very athletic. Needs a mean streak. I know he has been working hard in the off season.

Heard a number of incoming freshman in the high 30's to low 40's. If that is the case doesn't bode well for the football team or school's future.

Why didn't Campbell County play in the JV tournament?

It is strange. Not fit to coach the kids but still good enough to teach in the school. I agree something doesn't add up. I know Coach Murray and he is as good as they get. You won't find anybody to say anything negative about him because that is the type of person he is and he won't say anything because he loves the school and those kids. Sad.

I think you missed my point. I wasn't advocating giving the information out. I was saying that a PM with those questions would have been a good route to go. It appeared to me as if you were looking for that person to say who they were and their motive in the message board.

If someone wants to help I think they should be treated better than that. Does it matter who they are if they are going to help? Could be an attorney, someone who has gone through a similar situation, newspaper reporter. The worst that can happen is Coach Murray talks to them and says thanks but no thanks. Why would you need incentive to share information with someone that can help? I think Coach Murray can make those decisions for himself without folks on BGP doing his screening.

I will say that if Campbell County had played Highlands later in the season it would have helped more. You cannot duplicate the speed you see late in the season without playing Highlands if all you are going to play is NKY schools. No other team has it. Coach Lickert has at least manned up and is showing his players what it takes to take it to the next level. I hope that any team that has aspirations to win a state championship will try to schedule them so they know what to expect to make a long playoff run.

Maybe Campbell was better than people gave than most people thought.

Their punter was the difference in CC game. They had field position all night.

They missed the best lineman in NKY Logan Schneider from Campbell County. Hopefully they will add him in.

Be careful in the stands. They are a joke. There are no aisles so you have to walk on the rows to get up higher. To say they were a hazard would be an understatement. We had several people fall.

Campbell County should be ranked. They have 3 losses to quality teams (2 of which are probably top 5 in state) and they just beat # 11 in you poll.

He plays offense, not defense He had a very good night. Film doesn't lie.

Went to camps the entire summer. Has interset of multiple DII and some lower DI. Plays tackle this year but played guard the previous couple years. Would guess he will play guard in college. Has really good feet. Would expect he gets an offer in November.

I will put Logan Schneider of Campbell County up against the best. Very physical 6'3" 285 lbs.
