Two exciting games at Cooper yesterday. Any scores for JV tournament games?

Bishop Brossart defeats NCC

 

Brossart hit free throws down the stretch with 4th quarter comeback for 32-28 (I think) win.

For years the JV Tournament was hosted by Dixie. Do they not host it there anymore? How is it played now? Dixie always did a nice job of hosting this tournament and giving some recognition to the JV girls who practice and play all season with no fanfare.

So the JV Tourney is happening concurrently with the regular season? Not after the regular season?

No idea why they don't. The freshman don't play in the freshman tournament either. Boys or girls. They play districts tournament with teams in our district and winner goes to regionals where 3 other regions are involved, only 4 teams and that's it. I do know Scott freshman boys play in both so it can be done. I wish the Camels played in both.

I stand corrected and from a reliable source was told this: Freshmen girls did play in nky region- lost to highlands in 1st game...

Jv didn't play due to scheduling conflicts.

This is 1st year in last 3 that jv didn't play.

All games will be at Cooper High School

Games are still on for tomorrow at Cooper but 1st game is now at 11:00 am . Games are going until 4 and the final game will take place one day next week.

They are looking at Monday or Wednesday.

There isn't an easy way to get to Cooper & add snow to the road, this may be big problem!! First game was scheduled to be Cooper/Brossart at 11am....wonder if Brossart was able to make it?? WLWT has Boone Co. activities canceled until after 12noon!!

Games are on and Cooper walks away with the win at the 11 game and Conner falls to ND. Next game in 2 min HC vs Highlands.
