With the weather looking like alot of rain Friday night are many of any of the games likely to get postponed. Who has the deciding authority to make such a call?

It wasn't a playoff game but HHS postponed the CCH game in 2002 from Friday night to Saturday. My aging memory tells me that was the first year for the turf. Could be wrong on that though.

Male won't be grass, it will be a mud bowl. The only way any cancellations occur if there is lightning in the area. There is none forecast as of this writing.

Gallatin Co., I'm told, is a grass field. 1st time this season NewCath plays on grass.

It's the end of the year. I don't see why any school would postpone simply due to rain. That's like admitting that the rain hurts your teams advantages, that's just dumb, line up and play the game.

I think that any talk of postponement would be from a dollars and cents perspective. Bad weather could severely limit attendance.

With all of the talk in this thread about grass field games and turf field games you'd think the fans/supporters were going to be on the field with the players.

I think grass is much more common south of Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties. While turf is becoming more common I just don't see it too often.
