Are McCracken and Hendo ranked correctly?

Is Trinity the clear #1?

What else would you change?

Campbell County should be ranked. They have 3 losses to quality teams (2 of which are probably top 5 in state) and they just beat # 11 in you poll.

I like these rankings. 4 of top 6 are from the same district, which is what the KHSAA expected. 5 of the top 7 are from Jefferson County. McCracken is still an unknown to most of us. Henderson County has been in the mix for so many years without making it to a State Title game.

The jury is still out on Simon Kenton. Can they survive a trip to Western Kentucky? Scott County is usually a contender. They should make the semi-finals. Senior QB, son of Head Coach, etc.

I thought Ballard would be much stronger this season. PRP is a shell of last year's state runner-up.

I do expect a Trinity repeat. They have won a couple of titles with four losses. They have been tested. We'll see how this schedule helped them prepare for the playoff run.

Trinity is #1 until a KY school beats them.

Central Hardin is the team I would like to know more about. They just keep on winning. They have a solid opponent this week. How far up do they move with another win?

I would agree it's odd that Dixie is at 11 and CC is not ranked when CC just beat them. Wouldn't logic say CC is the better team?

I think so although I think McCracken is probably a little better then 8. I think both are better then Butler.

I've only seen Dixie once and would have had them slightly ahead of Campbell County prior to the game last week. Both are really good football teams.

Glad to see my Pioneers moving up. I think we go up one more spot before playoffs..

Wasn't it a few weeks ago that you didn't like my suggestion that McCracken might be a shade above Henderson? :D

Full disclosure I have seen SK and I have not seen St. X, so with that said I would ask - do you and your band of merry men who make out the rankings think that SK would beat X (even a Walkerless X)? I would take X.

I have no idea what you're talking about. :)

In all seriousness, I wouldn't have an issue either way. If you play the compare scores game Henderson looks to be a little better but it also appears McCracken has gotten better and better every week. While Henderson has also improved I just don't think it's to the extent that McCracken has. Should be great game when they meet and will really set the tone for the playoffs in the west.

When 2 teams play it takes all the fun out of debating who is better. :D

My personal opinion is X and Simon are too close to call.
