Basketball season for 2012/2013 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Campbell County ? Remember, please be constructive.

Camels should have a very good year. They return their top 2 players Corey Holbrook and Nate McGovney (both All Region last year). McGovney is recovering from offseason knee surgery but has been cleared for non-game basketball activity. The supporting cast (Geiman, Franzen x2, Deutsch, Hess & Losey) will need to continue to develop for them to make a run. They have added 3 transfers who will help with depth. Freshmen Trent McGovney and Matt Wilson will also be playing up and get some varsity minutes.

My prediction: Coach Russell and the Camels win the 37th and beat Montgomery in the region finals.

2 great players coming back. Any idea who the starting 5 might be?

Camel Madness is scheduled for Tues. Nov. 13th at 7:00. I will know more after that.

Should I bring you your crow there?

Should I bring you your crow there?

You certainly can. Cost of admission is $1 or a canned good. Canned crow will work. You will see first hand how good the Camels will be this season.

Is Durham playing basketball?

Is Durham playing basketball?

My guess would be no. We will know soon enough.

Any comments on how the scrimmage went? Surprises?

I don't think so....He will be busy making visits to D1 schools.

It was a fun night at Camel Madness. Biggest surprise for me was soph Dre Jackson. Super quick and smooth. Camels also have some beef down low with Evans, Wilson and Hess. When McGovney gets to 100%, this team will be a force in the 10th.

I also got a chuckle as some Mustang faithful were there scouting.

Not scouting. Just enjoying the festivities and watching some basketball as we are junkies. We were disappointed that we didn't win a free car wash.

Did you sign up to be a Camel booster member? If you would have, you would have been eligible for the drawing
